Store and handle streamers with this simple but super functional streamer roll. A Texas shearling wool liner releases large hooks as easily as it grabs them and is naturally water absorbent and antimicrobial

The STS Stash was designed in collaboration with Dave McCoy of Emerald Water Anglers in Seattle to organize the tackle that every steelheader needs at the ready-a handful of flies, shooting heads, and other essentials.
Turns out it’s a great storage solution for any angler-Steelheader, Trout sw***er, or
Salmon chaser.

Streamers - Streamers - Streamers

Whether it’s worth the effort or not, many fly anglers turn to the big guns when fall comes around to chase bigger trout. Are you throwing streamers this fall?

Fly of the Month - Crackleback Midge 🪰

What they lack in size, midges make up for in abundance.
They’re the most reliable year-round source of food for trout, though they are most effective from late fall through early spring due to the outsized portion of the menu they represent in the colder months.

Built on the foundation of a zebra midge, the crystal flash wings and shuck dial things up a notch. Tied on a scud hook for increased strength, in sizes ranging from #18 to #22, this pattern should be fished under an indicator for best results.

Leeches are a viable food source year-round for trout and you should absolutely fish them regardless of the season.

Here’s why ➡️

Late fall through early spring is prime time for leeches.
As air temps cool, trout are programmed to stock up on calories to get through the winter.

This time of year also triggers upstream migration from lakes and other large bodies of water, where leeches are readily available. As they transition into moving water, trout will recognize a leech as a familiar food source.

Trout eat all kinds of leeches, and they come in a surprising variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. From small, slender leeches to larger, meaty patterns, they can range from black and brown to olive, tan, purple, and even reddish tones. Some are active swimmers, while others spend most of their time moving along the bottom or hiding in vegetation and debris.

There are many leech patterns, each with a slightly different presentation. The Balanced Leech is built for stillwater and deep, slow runs, while a Little Leech shines when stripped or swung through moving water. A Micro Bu**er offers a smaller profile, and a Classic Bu**er gives you a larger, versatile pattern that can imitate leeches and other larger prey.
From rivers and creeks to stillwater and high alpine lakes, we’ve got a leech for just about anywhere trout are looking for one.
