● Youth is mandatory to have Passenger if they are not comfortable.

Car Choice
Any 1980 and newer cars. No hearses or limousines are permitted.

Any questions must be approved by the head inspector
( Dustin Cross 812-820-3119) either call or text 8am-8pm only.

If you plan on attending this event and not hitting and putting on a show for the fans, stay home and save us and yourself the drama.

You will have one hour to make the corrections to your car after your first inspection and be back in line. Must pass on your second inspection or you wont run. All repairs must be done before you return back to the inspection line. No repairs will be made in line or inside the building.

Early inspection plates or Wire.
Wire or plates pick one not both.
A- You will be permitted two 6IN X 6IN X 1/4IN plates per vehicle for showing up to early inspection. These plates can't be cut up and stretched out. You may bend the plate or shape the plate but if you cut it what's cut you lose. The two plates must be painted yellow.
B- 4 spots of #9 wire 4 strands per spot. Must stay vertical and only connect in two spots. THESE WIRE OR PLATES MUST BE PAINTED YELLOW.

There aren't many rules because you can only do these things!!
You must pass inspection within 2 times through inspection or you will not be permitted to run.

After your car has been inspected or flagged there will be no refunds.
We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries!
You are only permitted to have 2 fires in your car. This will result in a disqualification.
If your helmet comes off you're out.

VEHICLE PAINT REQUIREMENT
Vehicles may not be painted entirely flat black or gloss black. Each vehicle must have a noticeable color (not shade) or design covering at least 50% of the body. We are not playing a shades game. (Black is a color so if you pick flat black you cant run gloss black as your 2nd color Vise versa) We want every car to be easily identifiable and visually different for the fans, officials, announcers, and photographers. Numbers must be large, clear, and displayed in a contrasting color on both sides of the 12x12 roof sign. Roof sign must be mounted on the car when inspected and also clear and legible. Cars must be stock unless stated below in the rules. All welds on the car can be a maximum of 1⁄2 in. wide and 1⁄4 in. tall, single pass only. Vehicles that do not meet this requirement must be repainted before passing inspection.

General
Cars must be stock unless stated below in the rules. Any aftermarket parts must be approved If they are not identified directly in these rules. All
welds on the car can be a maximum of 1⁄2 in. wide and 1⁄4 in. tall, single pass only. No clipping or re-stubbing of frames will be permitted. Body Swaps will not be permitted.

Stripping Car Rules
The following must be removed prior to entering inspection: the windows, headlights, taillights, all the chrome, and the mirrors. The interior must be swept clean of debris and glass. You must remove all glass, plastic, and fiberglass on the outside of the car including the plastic bumper covers. ALL AIRBAGS AND PUCKS MUST BE COMPLETELY REMOVED
Under the hood you may take the plastic fender wells out. The battery must be moved to the passenger floorboard or inside the car.

Front Frame
No frame shaping will be permitted unless otherwise stated. No welding of frame seams
anywhere. Rails cannot be squeezed together or narrowed. Rails will be measured from side to side and compared to factory measurements.

Center Frame
No frame shaping will be permitted. No modifications on center rails beyond what is allowed to mount crossmember and seam welding stated in the front frame section will be permitted.

Rear Frame
No frame shaping will be permitted unless otherwise stated. No welding of frame seams
anywhere. Rails cannot be squeezed together or narrowed. Rails will be measured from side to side and compared to factory measurements. The top of the rails can be dimpled or cut for bending purposes only and cannot be re-welded.

Hump Plate YOU WILL BE PERMITTED 1 Flat 3in tall x 20inch long x ⅜ thick plate per rail, per hump. ( 2 total per car) This can not attach to the rear end, can not attach to the body or trailing arms in any way. (no teepee plate) Must stay flat from one side of the hump to the other. This plate can not go past the hump or any lower than the side of the rear rail. Plate can only attach to the outside of the frame. Nothing on the internal / inside of the frame. This plate can go on the package tray side of the frame with trimming of the package tray and only welding back in that spot trimmed or on the trailing arm side of the frame, NOT BOTH. This can not attach to the body.

Front Suspension
Solid suspension is permitted. You may use 1 strap per a-arm 3 in. X 6 in. X 1⁄4 in. thick to make it solid. A-arm strap must stay complete and the plate itself has to touch the a arm or a arm bracket, do not cut it up. Do not build up weld to touch. Front springs (1 per side) must be factory OEM springs, You may add screw in spring risers. Nothing will be permitted beyond this. A-arms must be an OEM not home made. A-arms are interchangeable but must be a direct bolt on to factory configuration with no modifications. Upper and lower ball joints must be for factory OEM cars but can weld in. Tie rods must be factory OEM car. No aftermarket tie rods will be permitted. All cars must use the factory steering to the car, no exceptions. Sway Bar can not be cut and re welded in any way. No cutting or welding. Has to be mounted using factory hardware in the factory location on the frame. When bolting the sway bar to the lower you can only use 1 7/16 bolt per side and weld. You may bend the ear to lay flat on the lower for bolting. 03 up may drill one hole and bolt to the lower a-arm also using one ⅜ bolt per side.

Rear Suspension
You will be permitted one ⅜ chain perside. This must go through the center of the rear spring pocket and wrap around the rear end housing. Do not attempt anything beyond what is mentioned or you will lose this completely. No solid rear suspension. You may stuff rear shocks with a rag for stiffness or change rear springs to factory OEM springs You may wire springs to the rear end OR WELD A SINGLE PASS to help hold them in. You may use (2) strands of doubled wire per spring. Watts conversion kits will not be permitted. You may run factory trailing arms with The Simple Solution style trailing arm and watts gusset kit. No air bag rear suspension. No leaf spring conversions.

Steering
Unless stated in rules, steering components must be of factory car origin, remain stock and mount in factory location. No aftermarket spindles are allowed. Spindles must be stock OEM car spindles. Spindles can not be reinforced in any way. An aftermarket steering column will be permitted.

Rear-End
Any gear is permitted. You must run the stock housing and axles for the make and model of the car. Rear end bracing is not permitted. May run pinion brake.

Cage
A Simple 4 Bar cage will be permitted. No cage material may be bigger than 4 in. X 4 in. unless specified. You are permitted a maximum of 1 24 in. long gusset per corner of cage. The front dash bar must be 6 in. from the firewall. The rear seat bar cannot be further back than 12 in from the b-pillar. Side bars cannot run inside the doors except the driver's side. Cage cannot be connected to the frame or have down legs or kickers of any type. Door bars can be no bigger than 4 in. X 4 in. X 1⁄4 in. wall or 2 in. X 6 in. X 1⁄4 in. wall. The center bar must be 6’’ from the Tr**ny tunnel. Door bars can touch but not protrude the firewall but must be 70’’ max total length. You must have a rollover bar, but it must run straight across and can only be welded to the top side of the rear seat bar. Rollover bar may be bolted to the roof in 2 spots within 2 in. of the rollover bar using 3⁄8 in. hardware. You are permitted a gas tank holder off the back bar that can be no wider than 24 in. All cage material must be at least 6 in. higher than the body bolts.
Gas Tank holder and protector can touch sheet metal not welded. Sheet metal can not be manipulated or shape changed in any way. No part of the gas tank protector can be more than 4 inches higher than the gas tank TOP including the gusset. One 2X2 ¼ tube can run from the top SIDE of the gas tank protector to the roll over bar but has to be LEVEL. No slope.
● Youth, Passenger has to have something to hold onto.
● Youth, Battery must be mounted behind the driver and passenger and Covered.

Tires
Any tire and rim combos are permitted. Doubled tires are permitted. No foam filled tires on the rear. You will be disqualified if your tire is foam filled during the event and it shows its face.

Body
Simple Creasing of the body is permitted but it must be behind the back door on the rear quarter panels only. The quarter panels must stay the stock height of the car. You can fold the rear quarters under but do not squeeze them in or attach them to the rails or trunk pan. You may bolt the rear quarter around the rear wheel well in 6 places per side using ⅜ bolts. Do not squeeze and do not change the trunk floor/pan. Must stay flat

Shifter/Brake Pedal/ Gas Pedal
Bolt on shifters / and aftermarket brake and gas pedals will be permitted. You can run a center cage bar no bigger than 2 in. X 2 in. for the purpose of mounting your shifter. NO gussets off center bar for any reason.

Hood
Hoods may be wired or chained or welded. Choose one only one. If wired or chained must be in 8 spots and no more than 2 double stains of wire per spot. No exceptions! You may use 1 5/16 in. chain per spot. It must be sheet metal to sheet metal only. No welding washers for holes. There must be a 12 in. hole in the hood in case of a fire. You must remove the hood latch.
You may only use 20 ⅜ bolts in the hood securing the inner and outer skin only.
Hoods must be open for inspection.
If welding hood you are permitted 6 SPOTS TOTAL OF 2x2x3 angle with one ⅜ bolt per
Bracket.

Trunk
Trunk lid or tailgate can be domed / dished or tucked. Trunk or tailgate can be wired or welded. Pick one and only one. The deck lid and tailgate must be in the factory position on the car or it must be completely removed from the car. The quarter panels must stay the stock height of the car. 2 8 in. X 8 in. inspection holes must be put in all deck lids within 2 in. off The deck lid is being measured 12 in. from the top of the rear quarter panels in the center of the deck lid in 3 spots starting from the back of the deck lid up. center of the quarter panel rain channel. You cannot remove the speaker deck from the car.
Option One, If you remove the deck lid you are not permitted any wire for your trunk.
Option Two, Trunks may be chained or wired in no more than (8 places and no more than 2 double stains of wire per spot. Two of these may go around the bumper and/or the frame.
Option Three, You may weld the deck lid or tailgate in 8 places using 8 4in x4in ⅛ flat plates. Plates can not be manipulated or 2x2x3 ¼ angle with one ⅜ bolt per bracket. If the deck lid is welded in more than 8 spots, you will not run or you will cut the deck lid or tailgate completely off with no exceptions.

Doors
The doors must be chained, wired or welded. Only around sheet metal not around cage If choosing chains or #9 wiring you will be permitted a maximum of 8 places per door and no more than 2 double stains of wire per spot. If you choose to weld the doors you may use 4 in. X 4 in. by 1/8 in. plates in a maximum 2 spots per door seam. In addition to any of these options you may wire for the bottom of the doors and go around the frame in 4 places per rocker. You may use 5/16 in. chain or 2 strands of #9 wire per spot. You must have a 1/8 in. door skin on the driver’s door - inner or outer. The outer door skin can only overlap the driver door gap by 3 in. You may also run an inner door skin only on the passenger side front door no thicker than 1/8 in. or similar material. No other doors may be welded or have washers or angle iron welded to them. No wire or straps can be attached from the roof to the floor in the rear seat area. No window net can be welded over the driver door window or any window.
No plating of the top of the rear doors where outer meets the inner (window would protrude through)
● Youth, inner door plate is mandatory on Passenger side and drivers side
front doors with or without a passenger.

Wiring
A simplified wiring harness is permitted. If the car has a wiring harness in front of the core support, you may move it behind the core support.

Body Mounts
Do not touch the body mounts or body bolts unless stated in the rules.
All body mounts and bolts must be factory stock except the front 2 body mounts, and you can change 2 other body mount bolts for rust repair. (4 TOTAL ONLY) These body bolts can be changed to 1⁄2 in. bolt only NO EXTRA SPACERS!! You may change out the core support body mount to a hockey puck or metal tubing! A maximum of 3 in. X 3 in. X 3 in. tall or you will lose the spacer completely. If changed to metal tubing you can weld the 3in x 3in x3in tube to the core support and body mount. Gap between the core support and body mount can be no more than 3 inches. The ½ inch core support bolt or all thread can go through the hood but no extra spacers or added metal. 5 nuts max no nuts or washers bigger than 3 inches.

Fuel Tank
Fuel tanks must be mounted securely inside your gas tank protector. Only fuel cells will be permitted, no boat tanks or stock fuel tanks. Must be covered.

Drive Train
No Cross breeding, Drivetrain must be the same make as the car (Chevy to Chevy, Ford to Ford, etc). Stock exhaust or headers. The exhaust must be cut off. You are permitted to have Carbureted motors in bubble top cars.
The engine must be mounted within 2 in. of its stock location. The motor mount has to be mounted in rubber.
The engine motor mounts can be welded or bolted in.
No homemade cross members. The cross member must be stock and bolted in, not welded.
You are permitted an aftermarket aluminum radiator, but it must be bolted in like factory or held in with ratchet straps, #9 wire or 4 3/8 all thread rod vertical.
Radiator guard is permitted and may only attach to core support between body mounts. You are permitted an 1/8 inch flat sheet metal radiator protector and can only bolt in 8 places using ⅜ bolts only. No Radiator holders are permitted. No excessive spray foam or you will be asked to remove it.
Stock OEM drive shafts only, no aftermarket sliders will be permitted.
Trans coolers may be mounted inside the car. On a youth car trans cooler must be mounted behind the front seat if running a passenger. Fan blades must be safe where you can't put your fingers in it. Trans cooler mounting can't strengthen the car in any way.
No lower ENGINE cradles or trans braces of any kind.

Firewall / Window bar
You may cut the center of the fire wall away or cave the fire wall back RIGHT BEHIND THE DISTRIBUTOR ONLY!!! You can NOT run your front window bar down and connect them in any way to add strength because you cut the firewall. Both front and rear window bars are to be centered in the window areas.

Front Window bar is to go from top 3 in. of the roof to the top side of the firewall. It is mandatory that the hole in the firewall is covered with a rubber mat/ fire blanket or equivalent for driver's protection.
You may run one 2x2 ¼ driver roll over bar off the dash bar following the A - pillar up to the roll over bar. This isn't to strengthen the car, this is for driver safety.

Rear Window
Rear window bar is permitted to be welded the first 3 in. of the roof and the first 3 in. Where the package tray meets the trunk, going towards the bumper. You are permitted a maximum of 1 3 in. wide flat stock no more than 3/8 in. thick per front and back window. There must be a gap between the gas tank protector and window bar and can not be connected to the gas tank protector in any way.

Bumpers/Bumper Mounting
Loaded Factory OEM car bumpers or approved 74, 76 REPLICA bumpers will be
permitted.(REPLICA BUMPER MUST LOOK LIKE OEM BUMPER) OEM loaded Chrysler Pointys are acceptable. (Chrysler Replicas are not permitted) These bumpers are not permitted to have any embellish points or slants period. All bumpers may be seam welded only with the outer skin being beat down to the inner skin only. No sharp or jagged edges allowed anywhere on the bumper for safety reasons. You may also use bolt together aftermarket bumpers similar to TCJ/Adept/Limitless fab (7ga – Vic Replica) bumpers will be permitted. These bumpers may be seam welded and loaded. These bumpers can be no longer 60 in. You may collapse the shocks and weld all the way around the shock and to the mounting plate to the bumper and there must be a 1.5 in. gap between the frame and the factory bumper shock plate. The shock must be bolted in the factory location. You will not be permitted to add bumper shocks to the 03 and up. If hard nosed on the back side of the bumper where the bumper mounts, you may use a 1⁄4 in. X 6 in. X 6 in. piece of flat metal to create a flat mounting surface. Hard nosing is permitted but there must be a 1 in. gap between the front of the core support mounting bracket and the bumper plate. This will be measured from the front of the core support mounting bracket to the bumper plate. The front bumper cannot be any higher than 21 in. from the bottom of the bumper to the ground. The back bumper cannot be any lower than 15 in. from the bottom of the bumper to the ground. You may use a bumper flip plate and bumper shock. Bumper flip plate can be welded and must only mount on the outside of the frame and can only go 1 in. past the bumper shock mounting bolt. 1⁄4 in. thick max
No climber guard on top or pieces of tubing. (must look like an oem bumper)

Fix-It Plates
Cars will be permitted 4 6 in. X 4 in. X 1⁄4 in. plates total prior to the show. You can shape these plates. Anything you cut or cut off you will lose. You will not be permitted to use these plates to touch or connect to the driveline in any car Or to the body or sheet metal. These plates cannot be removed once they have been welded on the car.
Plates have to stay 6x4, no parallelogram plates. Entire plates must stay on the outside of the frame and not be used as a pin in any way.

Any front wheel drive automobile with 110-inch wheelbase or smaller.
Pre runs are ok

Prep for build
You must remove all glass and plastic.The windshield may be left in the car or you can remove the windshield. When building these cars please remember to remove all headlights, taillights, mirrors, etc. Remove these items from your home and do not make a mess of it at the fairgrounds.

Front Bumper
Pick your bumper option
You may run any loaded OEM car front bumper,
Simple Solution TCJ flat or Adept flat,
Replica of an OEM bumper. No chrysler pointy, NO Rep Chrysler pointy or hybrid bumpers. Must be a rep of an oem bumper.
A piece of tubing no bigger than 4x8 ¼ tubing and it must be capped.
All bumpers can be loaded. NO points on bumpers. Weld a 6x6 pad at the end of the frame, in between the bumper and frame not on top, and weld the bumper to it. 2’’x2’’ ¼ max Bumper shocks can be no longer than 10 inches and MUST be welded to the outside of the frame with one single weld no bigger than 3/8 bead. You cannot weld the cradle to the frame. The cradle cradle may be solid mounted to the frame with factory mounting bolts, you may remove the brackets, and bushings and suck it tight but no welding or added metal.
Radiator guards are permitted. Cannot be any wider than the frame rails. 1/8 flat sheet metal and can only bolt in 8 spots using 3/8 bolts only. Not welded. If welded you will lose it.

Rear bumpers
may be welded to the frame only. Must be factory oem to that make and model of car. NO ADDED METAL.

Gas Tank
Stock fuel tanks ARE NOT permitted to be inside the vehicle. You may leave the stock gas tank in the stock location if the fuel tank is in front of the rear axle, or if you remove the stock fuel tank you must run an aftermarket fuel cell. If this is done you must use a fuel cell. No plastic tanks or stock tanks inside. If you relocate the fuel tank you have 2 options:
A. You can weld a gas tank protector off the rear bar behind the seat. Protectors must be no wider than 28 inches and may go no higher than 5 inches above the fuel cell. You can have 1 gusset per side no bigger than 8 inches. You may have an upright on each side of it with two bars going directly forward covering the sides of the tank. (Don’t get too crazy or you will cut it.) No added metal other than what is stated. The protector can touch the rear package tray but can not change the structure or shape of the sheet metal. No welding or bolting to the package tray or sheet metal. All cage components need to have a 4-inch gap off any floor pan.
B. If no back bar is present, you are permitted to have a 28” x 28” x 5” above the tank gas tank structure no thicker than 1/4” and it must be bolted to sheet metal only within the 28” x 28” span.

Cage
A 4-point cage with roll over bar is allowed, must go straight up and over. Door bars are to be no bigger than 2x6, cross bars no bigger than 4x4. Door bars must be at least 8 inches from the rear door seam. NO TURNBUCKLES. You can weld a gas tank protector off the rear bar behind the seat. Protectors must be no wider than 28 inches and may go no higher than 5 inches above the fuel cell. You can have 1 gusset per side no bigger than 8 inches. You may have an upright on each side of it with two bars going directly forward covering the sides of the tank. (Don’t get too crazy or you will cut it.) No added metal other than what is stated. The protector can touch the rear package tray but can not change the structure or shape of the sheet metal. No welding or bolting to the package tray or sheet metal. All cage components need to have a 4-inch gap off any floor pan. If no back bar is present, you are permitted to have a 28” x 28” x 5” above the tank gas tank structure no thicker than 1/4” and it must be bolted to sheet metal only.
You may have a battery box secured in the passenger side of the car. It may not strengthen or reinforce the car in any way.
Front windshield bar 2’’x ¼ flat bar with a 3 inch overlap on the top and bottom or #9 wire in the center of the windshield is mandatory if the windshield is removed .
Youth, Passenger has to have something to hold onto.
Youth, Battery must be mounted behind the driver and passenger and covered.

Drive Train
No cross breeding of the entire drive train. It must be the same make as the car (Ex: Toyota to Toyota, chevy to chevy, etc.) and must appear to be the factory engine to the car. 6 cylinder to 4 cylinder swaps or 4 cylinder to 6 cylinder swap is permitted. Headers with protectors are permitted but can not strengthen the car in any way. The engine must be mounted with stock mounts in the stock position. Harness may be moved out of harm's way or run simplified harness.
Engine may be chained down at the motor mounts using ⅜ standard chain one loop. welded 2 chain links max. If you try to over do this you will lose the chain.

Doors
The doors may be chained, wired or welded. If chained or wired in no more than 12 total spots per side. 2 wraps of wire per spot. If welding the doors you may use 4in. X 4in. by 1/8 in. plates in a maximum 2 spots per door seam. You CAN choose to weld the driver door vertical seam completely with 3 inch overlap of the door and fender seam. We recommend that you run an inside driver’s door plate (Simple Solutions Door Plate) You may weld the door plates completely to the a pillar, rocker and b pillar. This is for your safety.
Youth, inner door plate is mandatory on Passenger side and drivers side front doors.

Trunk / hood
Wire or weld the trunk lid and hood in 8 total spots. 8 spots for the hood can be 2in x 2in x 3in angle with (1) ⅜ bolt. per. You may weld the deck lid or tailgate in 8 places using 8 4in x4in ⅛ flat plates. Plates can not be manipulated. If the deck lid is welded in more than 8 spots, you will not run or you will cut the deck lid or tailgate completely off with no exceptions.
Trunk lids must remain in the factory location. You may remove the trunk lid or hatch. If you remove the trunk lid or hatch you lose the (8) spots. No welding or adding metal is permitted. The trunk lid must be in the stock location. You may 90 the trunk lid on its hinges or dome the trunk lid 12 inches. This will be measured from the top of the quarter panel. Quarters must stay vertical. No wedge cars or anything else you can think of is permitted.
Rear quarters can be creased from behind the door gap back. No other panels can be creased.

Tires
Any tires and wheel combo is permitted. Doubled tires are permitted. Solid tires are permitted. No foam filled tires are permitted. Valve stem protectors are permitted.

Suspension
Front
Stock type springs and shocks are permitted. No solid suspension. Screw in spring risers or strut risers are permitted. must be a factory for that make and model of car. No welded control arms are permitted. You must have a factory sway bar and it must be bolted on (No exceptions).

Frame
You may dimple the top of the rear frame in the trunk pan. 1 spot per side.
Fresh are permitted 6 4"x4"x1/4" patch plates total.
4”x4” Plates cannot be cut apart and stretched etc. You can bend these plates to contour with the frame but once welded these plates must measure 4’’x4”.

NO welding or filling holes on frame. Must be able to scope frames if needed using oem holes.
No other plates or welding anywhere.
No painting of the frames, inside of the body of the car, or underneath of the car and inside of the trunk. This includes overspray. If found with paint within those areas, the car will not even be inspected.
Patching and rust repair will be permitted only if cleared by an official.
No seam welding, shaping or forming.

Steering/ Pedals/ Shifter
No aftermarket steering shaft, tie rods or pedals.
Aftermarket Shifters are permitted.
No added coolers of any kind.

If you plan on attending this event and not hitting or putting on a show for the fans, stay home and save us and yourself the drama.

*RWD mini can have ⅛ inch thick sheet metal work to patch holes in the body with a 1 inch overlap the hole.

8 4x6 ¼ fix it plates total

You will have one hour to make the corrections to your car after your first inspection and be back in line. Must pass on your second inspection or you wont run. All repairs must be done before you return back to the inspection line. No repairs will be made in line or inside the building.

Early inspection plates or Wire.
Wire or plates pick one not both.
A- You will be permitted two 6IN X 6IN X 1/4IN plates per vechile for showing up to early inspection. These plates can't be cut up and stretched out. You may bend the plate or shape the plate but if you cut it what's cut you lose. The two plates must be painted yellow.
B- 4 spots of #9 wire 4 strands per spot. Must stay vertical and only connect in two spots. THESE WIRE OR PLATES MUST BE PAINTED YELLOW.

There aren't many rules because you can only do these things!!
You must pass inspection within 2 times through inspection or you will not be permitted to run.

You are only permitted to have 2 fires in your car. This will result in a disqualification.
If your helmet comes off you're out.

VEHICLE PAINT REQUIREMENT
Vehicles may not be painted entirely flat black or gloss black. Each vehicle must have a noticeable color (not shade) or design covering at least 50% of the body. We are not playing a shades game. (Black is a color so if you pick flat black you cant run gloss black as your 2nd color Vise versa) We want every car to be easily identifiable and visually different for the fans, officials, announcers, and photographers. Numbers must be large, clear, and displayed in a contrasting color on both sides of the 12x12 roof sign. Roof sign must be mounted on the car when inspected and also clear and legible. Cars must be stock unless stated below in the rules. All welds on the car can be a maximum of 1⁄2 in. wide and 1⁄4 in. tall, single pass only. Vehicles that do not meet this requirement must be repainted before passing inspection.

Car building
• Any year four- or six-cylinder car 109’’ wheelbase or less NO V8S

Stripping
• All glass, fiberglass, plastic, chrome molding, door handles, mirrors, carpet, rear seat top and bottom, air bags, door panels etc. must be removed before arriving at the event.
• All flammable material must be removed. Cars must be swept clean of all dirt and debris.
• All OEM gas tanks must be removed on RWD cars.

Suspension
• Suspension does not have to bounce. You can use solid suspension such as using all thread as shocks.
* spindle maybe changed to OEM car spindle
• You can run solid or home-made struts.
• You cannot convert coil sprung cars to leaf sprung.
• Factory leaf sprung cars can build springs to 7 leaf’s per side max. 4 spring clamps per side. Must retain the factory main leaf as one of the 7.
• Springs do not have to be staggered.
• You may reinforce the struts and A-arms.
• You can weld or chain coil springs in.
• You cannot weld the sway bar to the engine cradle or frame. It must stay in the factory location or remove it. you can weld to lower A-arm.
• You may run a piece of 2’’x2’’ tubing 3 inches long on the bottom of the frame for your sway bar to mount.
• Coil Spring cars may have 22 inch long x 6inch tall x ¼ inch thick. The hump plate can not be attached to anything but the frame rail and body. One per side, one per rail.

Rear End
• Any 4,5,6,8 lug rear end. 1 ton down
• You may run a rear end brace but it is to brace the rear end only. Not the rails or body.
• Axle savers are ok

Steering Column
• You may Run any style column (stock or aftermarket)
• No hydro steering
• Any aftermarket tie rod
• If it was built factory with rack it must stay OR rack and steering box it must stay steering box.
• May have a ¼ inch thick max skid plate that runs from 1 inch over lap on the bottom or back of the bumper down to the bottom side of the bottom side of the engine saddle also 1 inch over lap only. This is to be no wider than the frame rails and flat except where it mounts to the bumper and where it mounts to the engine saddle.

Bumper
• Bumper shocks can be welded solid.
• Bumper shocks must remain in the factory location. NO EXCEPTION!
• You can run homemade bumper shocks Front and Back (2”x 2”) tubing but not longer than 12 inches.
• You can run any OEM reinforced bumper or home-made REPLICA bumper. No Chrysler pointy.
• Bumpers cannot be just a piece of square tubing. It has to resemble a factory car bumper.
• No pointy bumpers or sharp points.
• You may run 2” wide ¼ inch thick straps from the core support to the bumper.
• Bumper height limit is 22” to the bottom of the bumper max on the front. No lower than 14” on the rear.
•Rear bumper no bigger than 2x6 ¼

Body/Frame
• No full frame cars.
• If the frame is rusted you can patch it back with 2-4”x4” plates 3/16 thick one per rail.
• All body seams may be welded.
• If floors are rusted, you may fix them with sheet metal only.
• You may bolt fenders and quarter panels with up to 6 bolts per panel.
• You can run a 24” piece of angle in the center of radiator support
• You can load front frame rails from the firewall forward on the inside of the frame rails only.
• You can run (2) 2in x 2in ¼ wall kickers one on each side of the engine from the dash bar no further forward than the front of the strut tower or front of the a-arm mounting bracket.
• Body may be creased on the quarters and front fenders.

Trunk/ Hatch
• You may wedge or dish the trunk.
• If the car is wedged or dished and unable to see in the trunk, you are required to cut a hole for inspection.
• Trunk/hatch can be welded shut using 3” wide ¼ inch thick strapping.
• You may run three 3” wide 1/4-inch-thick straps from the trunk lid to the rear bumper.

Doors
• MANDATORY The driver door has to have an inner door plate or outer door plate! The outer door plate can only overlap the door seams by 3”.
• Doors may be welded shut using 3” wide ¼ inch thick strapping

Hood
• You may bolt or wire your hood in 6 places. 4inx4in hood washers max ⅝ Bolt max
• Hood must have a 12x12 hole.
• Core support may be wired to the front bumper.
• You may run two 3” wide x ¼ inch thick straps from core support to the front bumper.

Cage
• You can run a 4-point cage around the driver which consists of a bar across the dash which cannot be within 5” of the firewall.
• A bar behind the seat and it must be within 12 inches of the driver’s seat.
• 2 door bars connecting the dash bar and the seat bar
• You can run a rollover bar that has to connect to the rear seat bar. The rollover bar can be welded to the frame and bolted in 3 spots to the roof.
• The battery may be floating in the cage.
• The Gas tank may be floating in the cage.
• Leaf sprung cars may have one down leg per side 2’’x2’’ ¼ thick welded off the back bar to a 4x4 ¼ plate on the rear seat floor board area. 4x4 plate has to be bolted using ⅜ bolts in 4 places not welded. This must be vertical. (THIS IS TO PREVENT SPRINGS FROM COMING THROUGH THE FLOOR AND HURTING DRIVER)
• A gas tank protector may be used. The protector cannot be wider than 24” at the widest point. NO EXCEPTIONS!
• The protector can go to the rear floor pan but not welded or bolted.
• You can run the back window bar from the roll bar to the back bumper in one spot.
• If you run back window bars, it must be 15” from the back bumper.
• You can run two kickers from the dash bar to the inside part of the frame where the motor mounts are connected. These kickers cannot go past the shock or strut tower or a arm mount
• Adequate padding is recommended.

Gas tank
• Lines must be run inside the car, not underneath.
• The Gas tank must be constructed of steel or aluminum. No plastic tanks.
• The Gas tank must be moved inside the car and use one of these options to mount.
• Cars must have holes in the floors in case of a fuel leak Mandatory!
• The Gas tank will be safe or the car won’t run!

Engine/Transmission
• Four- or six-cylinder engines
• You may run a full engine cradle and pulley protector with full transmission brace
• Motor swaps are allowed
• Motors can be welded or chained with two pieces of chain no longer than 10” per chain.
• Distributor protectors are allowed with a kicker bar but cannot be welded or bolted to the protector. Firewall cannot be reinforced, but you can run a 3” wide by ½ inch thick window bar, but cannot be welded to the protector.
• All cars must have the fan covered at all times.
• The car must have working brakes.
• You may run a trans cooler
• You may run a slider drive shaft

Radiator
• Must be in the factory location.

Battery
• Two 12-volt batteries will be permitted. Batteries must be secured in a manner that is safe for the driver and fellow competitors.
• No ratchet straps or bungee cords.
• The battery is to be in a battery box and covered with a non-flammable material.

TIRES/ WHEELS
• Any Tires and wheel combo must have a tire- cannot run just a rim. With exception of NO split rims or studded tires.
• Solid wheels, bead locks, lip reinforcements, and valve stem guards are permitted. No foam filled on the rear. You will be disqualified if your tire is foam filled during the event and it shows its face.
