MissCues Regional Ladies Tour Announces
New Director and Tour Name Change

December 26, 2014 — The MissCues Regional Ladies Tour will see some changes in the year to come including a tour name change, adding Michigan to its region, and a new tour director in 2015.

I have served as the director of the MissCues Regional Ladies Tour, a WPBA recognized regional tour covering KY, IN, OH, and TN since we began back in 2009 and today, I would like to announce that after 5 years, I am stepping down as director of the tour effective January 15, 2015…after the 2015 WPBA Regional Tour Championships.

It’s been wonderful but very busy 5 years. I have loved and promoted this sport for 27 years and I have to say that this last 5 years have been most rewarding; I am very lucky to have met so many wonderful people during this time and thankful that those friendships will continue. I have served as league, tournament, and tour directors for 19 of 27 years; it’s time for me to just play the game that I love. Do not worry, MissCues Tour has a wonderful team willing to take it over and continue the regional tour.

Amee Schmidt and Angela Williams of Michigan, are current members of the MissCues Regional Ladies Tour and will be stepping in to the tour directors role come January 2015. I am sure they will do wonderful things with the tour. One of the first is expanding the tour to once again include Michigan in our region. Once they agreed to take over the tour, I immediately applied to the WPBA Regional Tour Directors Committee to expand our territory and add Michigan back into our region. This request was quickly approved, so we look forward to seeing a few events added in the Michigan area this coming season. One additional change coming is a name change to better represent this tour and its region. Along with the request to add Michigan, MissCues also requested approval to change the official name of the tour to the MidWest Regional Ladies Tour.

I do want to thank all those that helped MissCues get off the ground and running in our region; Bank Shot Billiards in Louisville, KY, Silver Cue in Lexington, KY, Billiard Club of Louisville, Borderline Billiards in Bristol, TN, and Rack 66 Billiard Supply in Louisville, KY. Their continued support over the last five years has been outstanding and we do appreciate everything they do for our tour and hope to continue in the years to come. I would also like to say a special thanks to Samantha Patton. Samantha was the co-director of the tour for the first 4 years; I couldn’t have done this without her time, help, support, and friendship. Most importantly, I want to thank the members of the tour. Your continued support of the regional tour and the sport of billiards is what keeps the tour going.

Thank you again for a wonderful 5 years and as always, I look forward to seeing you all on tour in the coming season.

Bank Shot Billiards

Congrats to Champion, Liz Lovely and Runner-up Heather Wolfe. Great way to end the season at the wonderful Bank Shot Billiards in Louisville.

Only one more event to go on the MissCues Ladies 9-ball Tour. Tour Championships will be November 8th at Bank Shot Billiards in Louisville, KY.
