Bourbon Tango Our social dance studio will help enhance your joy and wellness through dance. We teach tango, salsa, swing, and more! Come enjoy life, and Louisville with us.

Our passion lies in nurturing connection and musicality to ensure a seamless experience both on and off the dance floor. Clay and Cherie started Bourbon Tango to pursue the beautiful life of professional Tangueros/as. They teach Argentine Tango classes as well as tango fusion classes called Bourbon Tango, in addition to private lessons and performance group classes. Bourbon Tango is a highly adaptable social tango fusion dance, taking Cuban dance roots and applying Argentine connection, musicality, and the freedom that comes with a good glass of Bourbon. It's simplest forms can be danced in the grass or at your favorite concerts. While at its more advanced level, can turn an eye and inspire a room with its beauty and connectivity.

What happens when we create more space for our partner’s voice in the dance?

Join Fernanda Ghi in Louisville, Oct. 3–4 for THE OTHER: An Open Role Tango Weekend.

This isn’t simply about learning both roles. It’s about making tango more of a conversation—proposal, listening, response, and creating space for both dancers to contribute to what happens inside the embrace.

💃 Saturday & Sunday workshops
🌙 Saturday Milonga — 8 PM
🌀 Sunday Guided Practica
🎟️ Full Weekend — $150

Come explore the other person in the embrace.

Well folks, for the first time in all the fundraising Dancing with the Stars, Clay Marshall and Cherie Lanier were both winners with their celebrity dancers, who raised over $155,000 for hospice care in Southern Indiana! We love what we do but more than anything, we love why we do it. Here's to Hosparus Southern Indiana Dancing with the Stars and all that they do to serve their community, to bring love and peace to families in suffering, and to put on such an amazing annual event of pure joy. Thank you, thank you.... It was a night to remember!
