There are multiple facets of the Horse that relate to the body's energy, rooted in physics rather than mysticism. Slowing down one's Sil Num Tao practice and being mindful can lead to enhanced energy and better overall health. The interconnectedness of the root, stem, and leaves mirrors the connection between the Horse, rider, and bow, extending to the smallest detail of the string. The horse is the most crucial element to focus on, particularly in the initial year. Without a strong foundation, one cannot harmonize their lower body with their upper body, leaving them vulnerable to their opponent. The adage 'all fights go to the ground' holds truth, but with stability, you become one with the ground. Sigung Moy Yat's advice to imagine oneself as an ancient tree rooted in the ground, impervious to movement, is noteworthy. Similarly, the concept of being an ancient horse warrior, trained to be one with the horse, emphasizes the importance of unity and balance. No one can knock down a horse.
