Okolona Soccer Club

This was our first weekend of games and Okolona’s players started the season strong!

Our U19 Legends scored a very early goal and held the lead to win against J-Town 4-3. Three of our players scored goals!

Our U14 team traveled to Nelson County and scored a 5-3 win on Sunday!

Our U12 Strikers were also at Nelson County this weekend and managed a clean sheet with multiple players scoring goals!

Our U10 Purple Panthers tied 2-2 in an exciting game against Spencer County!

And our U8 Sharks won by a narrow margin against Fern Creek!

Congratulations to all players in the league for starting strong! This is just the beginning of an exciting season!

Spring season update--we've sent out emails to everyone who registered, so please check for the communication from us. If you didn't receive anything or you have additional questions, please let us know.

We still need a U8 coach--if you are a parent on that team, please consider helping out. We will provide support and offer guidance if you need it. Please help these kids!

We need help from our soccer community! We still need a volunteer coach for both our U8 and U14 teams. If you are a soccer fan or parent of a child in either age group, please consider volunteering your time this season. We can provide support for any coach needing it, and you can choose your practice schedule (two nights per week, usually Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, starting at 6pm). The season will end in late May.

Without a coach, the team can’t play, so please reach out if you have any questions and are even remotely interested in helping these kids!

Attention! Registration ends tomorrow (end-of-day Saturday, February 21) and we need a few more players for our U14 team. If your child was born in 2012 or 2013, please register now!

Also, we need a coach for our U8 team! It’s a great group of kids and without a coach, they won’t be able to practice or play this season. We can help get anyone started at this level, so please let us know if you are willing to help out! You can choose the practice schedule—twice per week from 6-7pm.
