Here Corey demonstrates a perfect way to add complexity to what starts as a simple balance exercise.
Each layer builds on the one before it while preparing you for the next step. And if you’re not looking to make things more complicated, each stage is a perfectly good place to stay and work 🙌

“I honestly never thought that I would be a yoga teacher.”
This line from Megh’s story is so relatable.
A lot of people who end up in teacher training didn’t start out thinking they would teach. There’s usually some hesitation, some self-doubt, some sense of not being ready.
After exploring trainings that didn’t fully click, Megh found her way to Yoga Baum. And we’re so glad she did

✨ “I am so grateful that I chose Yoga Baum for my 200-hour teacher training. It was the greatest opportunity that I have taken for myself.”
Elizabeth has been teaching at Yoga Baum since we opened in St. Matthews. She graduated from our second teacher training class, back when we were hosting the training out of the Old Louisville space 🥹
She writes:
“The teacher training at Yoga Baum dives deep into every aspect of your yoga practice and how mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically you show up for the students that have shown up for themselves.”
One of the pillars she still returns to today:
“Learning to creatively sequence where each class is individualized and unique is something I come back to every time I begin a class.”
Our alignment-based approach helps teachers learn how to support every kind of student, with the tools and confidence to shape classes around what students truly need that day.
And maybe our favorite part of her reflection:
“I am thankful every time I say ‘Namaste’ for how my journey as a teacher began.”
If you’ve ever considered deepening your practice or exploring the teaching side of yoga, check out our 200-Hour Summer Immersion Teacher Training.
“I would highly recommend the Yoga Baum teacher training to anyone who has considered deepening their practice.”
Applications for our upcoming 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training are open now. Catch the early bird discount and apply before 6/1.
