Are you guilty of this?
Do you set new weight loss goals every year and quit after a couple months because you weren’t seeing results quickly enough and lost all motivation?
I’m not judging you.
l was once you too.
There is an exit from that rollercoaster of bu****it and it’s called a ✨long haul mentally✨
Over here, we worry about the 80% that we do consistently, instead of the 20% that makes life more beautiful and rich and FULL.
We don’t quit on ourselves because there is actually no end to this process. S**t happens, we pivot.
I see a lot of people over complicate fitness and weight loss. You don’t need to cut out food groups. You don’t need to swear off sweets. You don’t need to workout every single day.
You need to change your mindset around these things.
Do you relate? Let’s chat in the comments!

Don’t let anyone tell you there isn’t power in setting a goal.
You may not be a fan of New Year’s resolutions, but it really isn’t any different than goal setting.
And l think we can all agree that setting goals for ourselves that have real meaning to us, is important for various reasons.
But when it comes to setting your goals, we want to be sure they’re realistic for you.
We can’t skip from A to Z. You’re more likely to reach the end goal by focusing on small incremental changes. A to B. B to C.
What habits are you focusing on building this year?
& If you need any help with the process, you can apply for 1:1 coaching through the link in my bio✨

I wish l could say this year has been wonderful. But l just can’t. It’s been a tough year for me truthfully. Yes, of course I’m still incredibly blessed, and it hasn’t been all bad. But all in all, I’m ready to see this year go and hopefully start fresh.
So I started thinking about things I’d like to leave behind going into this new year and these made the top of the list.
I’ve become a big fan of saying positive affirmations. l struggle pretty hard with negative self talk and many other cognitive distortions so saying these few sentences out loud to myself has started to change my mindset.
It can be awkward AF but l encourage my clients to do the same when l see them struggling to love and accept themselves.
So take what you need from this post and let’s keep adding to the list. What would you like to leave behind in 2023?

What is NEAT and why is it important?
NEAT is a fancy acronym that refers to all the calories you burn throughout the day OUTSIDE of your planned workout.
Fun fact: you actually burn more calories on a daily basis through your NEAT, not your workouts. So it would make sense to get in the habit of prioritizing your NEAT.
How do we do that? It basically boils down to moving more throughout the day. Set a step goal for yourself and try to hit it most days out of the week!
Do you track your steps daily? If so, what’s your goal? Let me know in the comments!

Benefits of lifting weights that have absolutely nothing to do with how you look:
✅ Increases strength
✅ Builds confidence
✅ Increases bone density
✅ Higher energy levels
✅ Improves mental health
✅ Reduces aches and pains
Plus many, many more. You don’t have to strength train to change your appearance (even though you certainly can).
Gimme a 🙌🏼 or 💯 below if you agree!

I’ve heard it sooo many times. Someone finds out I’m a trainer and they say “oh well l may have to come see ya after l lose a few pounds” 🤔
Huh? Wait, you know that’s our job right? We literally help people do that everyday lol.
Do l believe that anyone can lose weight on their own? ABSOLUTELY. But l can also attest to the fact that having a coach guide you through that process, can take a lot of stress and guesswork off your plate.
You don’t need to be a certain size to seek help. You just have to be ready to make a change! Our job is never to judge. It’s simply to meet you where you’re at.
