We have the best team captains in the country. They are fast. They both have high character. Both are fierce competitors in the classroom. Meet Didie Drogba - Class President for Butler High c/o '25. Call all serious runners and "competitors" we are gearing up for the Spring and Summer season. We can't guarantee you anything in competitive sports like track. However, we can promise you a legacy of making you faster. If this interests you, let us know.

To say that we are proud of these guys would be an understatement. It is easy to smile and do well on the mountain. True character is developed in the valley. Faith is needed to see what isn't visible yet. Congratulations guys.

Tretez went on to become amateur national champion, Big10 champion and Big12 champion. Years ago, he just barely missed the Olympic trials. Still a cool mellow young man. Kudos to a Village of Louisville legend.

Most folks don't know that The Village had the first AAU track club in Kentucky. People also don't know that our founder and coach emeritus, my father, Coach MO trained basketball before training track. I was one of his old protégés. We don't do much bball training anymore but I have been blessed to journey with T. Morris. Our families are close. Extremely proud of her. Not just because she has game but because of her character. I remember the quiet, lanky kid that came out a few summers ago. I remember the difficulty with workouts. I remember challenging you to give more than you wanted each day. I remember your personality budding and how you turned into a jokester. Heck, you made me Crack up a few times. You turned out to be a good student"3.0 gpa" and darn good runner. Congratulations!
