Mission Martial Arts is dedicated to enriching lives through the teaching of traditional Taekwondo in a non-threatening, family friendly environment.
Our classes follow a traditional style of Taekwondo, meaning we focus more on the total development of individuals and self-defense skills, not on sport fighting. Classes are led by owner and head instructor, Kevin Manwell. The Manwell family continues to train under the direction of Grand Master Robert Sledge [Martial Arts America, Ankeny IA], which is a partner school with Grandmaster Woo Jin Jung [Jung's Tae Kwon Do Academy, Cedar Rapids IA].

TAEKWON- DISCO Super Saturday was a full gym and so much fun! We played old school games like Red Light- Green Light, worked out to a great 70s playlist, and sharpened our kicking skills with some great technique drills. 🪩🪩🪩
