We've got cloudy skies, so here's a reminder of the pool's rain policy:

Admission is reduced to $5 (all ages) when there is a chance of rain closing the pool. We cannot offer rainchecks or refunds. When lightning is seen or thunder heard, the pool is cleared for a mandatory 30 minutes. If delays continue, the pool will be closed for the day.

Also, please note that the pool is closing at 4:00pm today (6/8) for a Sawyer Swim Team Meet. Weather permitting, this will be the only day we close early to the public all Summer.

The pool is open! The water is looking good and coming in at 77 degrees this morning.

Building renovations continue, so please enter at the south set of Activity Building doors.

For those of you considering pool passes, note that while hours are subject to change after school resumes, we have certified lifeguards available to remain open to Labor Day or beyond, weather permitting.

Still a week or so away from being able to announce anything with the pool. Here's a picture of a turtle in the meantime!

Excited to announce that we have opened a second FT Rec Leader position! This position offers a wonderful variety of tasks, but we also need someone that can step in immediately to assist with our pool.

Hoping for more than geese in our pool by the end of May, but we cannot announce any hours, rates, or programs for the 2026 season quite yet.

We will be busy all May cleaning, hiring lifeguards, testing the machinery, and awaiting the conclusion of the massive Activities Building renovation.

Our Rec Aide roster is full, but opportunities remain to be a lifeguard here this summer! An awesome responsibility and opportunity for experience for any student interested in a career in recreation, health, sports, or medicine. We have up to full-time equivalent hours available from May to September and reimbursement for certification is available.
