🥇Congrats to your 2026 class 3A Adapted Shot Put AND Discus STATE CHAMPION, Ava Sorrell-Young!!!

🔴Ava Sorrell-Young competed today in the KHSAA state championships in Lexington. Her performance speaks for itself as she will come home with 2 gold medals as well as 2 state records!!!👀

🟡Anyone who knows Ava, loves her. She is the most positive student-athlete you will ever meet! Her Seneca and Louisville Lightning family could not be prouder! 🫡

🏀Join us in welcoming new Head Girls Basketball Coach, Chynna Bozeman to the "Hawks Nest"!

⚫️Chynna comes to Seneca straight from the college ranks. Coach Bozeman has spent the last 2 seasons at St. Francis University (PA) where she served as an assistant coach for 1 year in 2024-25, and was then promoted to Head Coach for the 25-26 season. Prior to her stint at St. Francis, she was an assistant coach at Morehead State University where she also played during her collegiate career. Chynna left Morehead State as their all time scoring leader and had her jersey number 2 retired by the MSU athletic department.

➡️ Coach Bozeman had this to say about making the switch back to high school. "I am thrilled to join the Seneca Redhawk family and get to work. I bring a development- first approach to everything I do, both on the court and off of it. I am committed to building a program here where every player develops her game, her confidence and her character, and looks back knowing this experience mattered."

🔴Congrats to our Boys Volleyball team on a great season finishing with Double figure wins (11) for the first time in program history!🫡

Also huge shout out to first year head coach, Emma Brewer on a fantastic first year with the program. Future is bright 🤛
