Suino Sensei has been an important influence upon many of us within US Hontai Yoshin Ryu. His leadership within The Shudokan Martial Arts Association (in which Fabian Sensei is a leader and others in our group have been members) has provided many outside Japan a place to anchor traditional martial practice. This has included the promotion of excellent training, the providing of strong mentoring opportunities, and the hosting of very interesting and challenging seminars. Please note that our Katsujinken Dojo, located within Louisville's Takanoko Dojo on Brent Street in The Highlands, is no longer operating.

Takanoko Dojo remains open, but Hontai Yoshin Ryu is not currently training there. Go there for outstanding karate-do training in Louisville.

Training in Hontai Yoshin Ryu curricula occurs three times weekly at Kentuckiana Shotokan Karate-Do (KSKD), located at 9103 Galene Drive in Louisville's J-Town neighborhood.
