Six Race Day Eve Tips 👟
1. Lay Out your Race Gear: Wear your Throo the Zoo t-shirt or your best animal-themed costume. Make sure you come wearing a comfortable pair of running shoes.
2. Pin your Bib Properly: Safety pin your bib on the front of your torso or chest, ensuring it is clearly visible for proper time chip detection.
3. Plan your Day: Arrive early, decide which wave you will be participating in, and pick up your race day packet if needed.
4. Hydrate, Fuel, and Rest: Drink plenty of water, plan what you're going to eat for race day breakfast and get a good amount of sleep.
5. Warmup: Get your blood flowing before the race starts. You can do some light jogging, stretches, and/or do a few minutes of walking.
6. Have fun!: Being able to complete and compete in any race is an accomplishment. Loosen those nerves out and have positive mindset. You've got this!
