Assistant Coach Emma Dufresne gave her thoughts on a 1-0 win over Anderson and reflected on her time as a member of the coaching staff for Spalding Women's Soccer.

She was presented with an award from the team tonight for all her contributions to the program.

Spalding wins their opening match 1-0 over Anderson with a game winning goal by Claira Andrews.

After the match we spoke to Claira about the goal and starting the season with a win.

Last night at Legacy Fields, we kicked off our 502sports Series covering the Spalding University Women's Soccer Program for the fall season!

Spalding fought back to win 2-1 over Midway in their final exhibition match as they prepare for their first regular season match on Tuesday.

The game-winning goal was scored by Sophomore Maddie Campbell (South Oldham HS), and we talked with Maddie in our post-game interview.

Racing Louisville won AGAIN last night to make it 5 wins out of 6 and move up to 12th in the standings.

Now just 4 points out of playoff position, this is a historic run for the club. Never in their history have they won 4 in a row, and they will go for 5 when they travel to Chicago this weekend!

Racing's next home match is September 5th vs Angel City FC.

Breaking News: Churchill Downs and NYRA have announced a new 3-year old Thoroughbred Championship Series which will begin in 2027.

With a $5 Million dollar prize pool and a unified points system, the 6 race series will crown a season champion.

Races will be held at Churchill Downs, Belmont and Saratoga and create a season and points structure similar to other major sports.

The final points standings will determine the overall winner of the Thoroughbred Championship Series.
