Yogaia is happy to offer a restorative experience designed to attune, align, and revive from the inside out.

The Restorative Play Shop is a 90-minute adventure in deep rest, regulation, and coherence within the body and mind.

This offering invites a gentle downshift through restorative postures, breath awareness, meditation, and guided relaxation. The intention is ease—creating space to soften, to land in presence, and to allow the nervous system to settle into its natural rhythm of rest and restoration.

Heidi Bartholomew brings over a decade of teaching experience into this offering. Her practice weaves traditional yogic wisdom with a modern understanding of the nervous system, creating grounded, accessible spaces to embody presence in a deeply restful way.

Yogaia welcomes connection with aligned studios and wellness spaces interested in bringing this experience to their students. Inquiries are welcome via direct message or email.

If you feel called, share in the comments below the spaces you would love to see this experience offered.

Chandra Flow to a Flower Full Moon
Friday 5/1
9:00 am

A slow, grounding all-levels practice moving with the rhythm of the Moon.

Flow slow through a Moon Salutation sequence to soften the body, steady the nervous system, and open space for tuning in.

In community, we cultivate this time when things naturally rise, become visible, and ask to be felt - offerng space to integrate or let go. No forcing—simply allowing—a bringing of awareness into awareness, awareness turning into itself.

In unity, we open fully—life moves, blooms, warms, and embodies aliveness.

This practice is a way of listening to aliveness itself—the body’s aliveness, the Earth’s aliveness, life’s aliveness, through the Moon’s unfolding.

We weave together softness and strength, stillness and expansion, remembering this work is meant to be playful, meant to be deeply grounding—an invitation to move, breathe, and be with what is always alive within.

All levels welcome.
Come exactly as you are.

Motivation and desire are intrinsically linked—sometimes even synonymous. How does desire feel intrinsically as motivation?

For me, it feels like it pulses out from the heart. That pulsation stimulates movement, and when that movement is connected to pratibhā—awareness, consciousness—then it becomes a guided dance of allowing the next step to arise, along with the momentum to actually take it.

For me, it works best when I am clear about desire—focused and tuned into the feelings and experiences I wish to create. I notice that movement tends to halt when there are multiple, seemingly different desires swirling around. A practice of peeling away and getting to the root desire is something I am learning to use.

What is my root desire? To experience my highest self—yes—but can I be more specific without creating expectation? I am open to expansion, to becoming whatever life requires. My desire is to offer myself to life and to move with the flow, showing up to what arises.

What I am recognizing is that this does not always create movement. At other times, it does. Surrendering to this is challenging. I find myself isolating and feeling stagnant, but then it shifts and I have momentum again.

I also recognize that there are things that fog clarity. The clearer I feel, the more movement happens. So today, without force, I stand in commitment to myself to recognize what fogs clarity—to be conscious of my choices, and to create external conditions that support movement: healthy connection, joy, presence, and being “high on life.”

I ask—and will continue to ask—for desire to be clear, for what lives in my heart to be my guiding light, and for freedom from old habits and patterns, while developing new ways of being with myself and with others.
