International yoga day is this weekend.
Come celebrate with us on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00.
We will be doing a yoga practice that includes asana and pranayama that I learned in the Iyengar National Convention, and then we will have a potluck. If you plan to join us, please sign up online.
Sign up link is in the comments. All class fees are being donated to the Iyengar Yoga National Association General fund

We get some time to find food in the city and roam around. It is fun to be with friends when exploring. Philadelphia is such a pretty city.

Every class, we are exploring so many deep topics. Do do you poses and access out deeper selves.
We use the body to communicate with the exterior mind and all of it's many layers, and then use the exterior mind to communicate with the interior mind and all of it's layers, so that we can eventually access the Self.
It is amazing when I can get a glimpse of that inner Self where my truth resides. Where the inner world and the outer world are one and the same.
Have I told you lately how much I love my job?

I love doing yoga with so many other like-minded friends! I am so grateful for the opportunity to attend the Iyengar National convention. We only gather like this once every 3 years. It is a special special event to be sure!

Nicole, Kirsten, Beth, Colleen, Suzy, and Amanda, members of the Knitted Pickles group, gathered on April 11 for the all-day Knit for Food knitathon to help raise money for world hunger organizations. The group met in several spots in the Berthoud-Loveland area to spread the word, knit publicly, and raise awareness. These “craftivists” raised $8,145 and hope to make this an annual event. Funds will be divided equally between Feed America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry, and Meals on Wheels.
Thanks so much for helping us collect so much money!
