2020 RRR Female Runner of the Year: Melissa DeBruler Pratt

Melissa is not only a great runner herself but she also works hard in our community to promote running to others. She has spent a lot of time organizing running groups and training teams that inspire others to achieve their goals. Much like everyone else, her running season was significantly affected by covid. However, she was able to perform well at a couple of half marathons, including the F^3 Lake Half Marathon. Melissa once again qualified for the Boston marathon by running a 3:44 at the Last Chance BQ.2 Grand Rapids in Michigan. She has completed several of the world major marathons including Chicago, New York City and Berlin. For the Chicago marathon, she and her group of runners raised funds for Camp One Step, a camp for children fighting cancer. Thank you for all you do to promote running in our community, Melissa!
