🚨 Your knees are on strike, and honestly, can you blame them? 🤷‍♂️ Running might seem like the quickest way to get fit, but it’s also the fastest way to make your joints hate you. Here’s a wild idea: let’s switch things up with some strength training that builds muscle, burns fat, and—brace yourself—actually feels good! 💪 Say goodbye to the endless miles of misery and hello to a workout that makes you feel stronger and more capable every time you walk out the door. Your knees (and your sanity) will thank you.

It is wild looking back at what 40 and 50 used to look like. It was smoking, not moving much, not great shape. Now you see this split. A bunch of people are chasing that fountain of youth with training and better habits, and a bunch are just slowly sliding down. It really is a continuum, and you get to pick where you are on that curve.

Three essentials for staying balanced:

- Faith, putting what you cannot control in God’s hands.
- A support system at home that lines up with your goals instead of adding more stress.
- A real outlet, from reading or writing to kickboxing or Muay Thai, that lets you reset instead of letting stress build up.

What kind of outlet actually helps you reset?

Most lifters talk about getting stronger but never change how they treat their body. They still chase heavy weight, still ignore the pain, still rush the warm up. Stretching is equal to the workout, recovery and repair are just as important as the work. Muscle endurance and longevity beat a big bench that keeps you broken.

Watch the full episode for the full breakdown on stretching, recovery, and training for longevity instead of just chasing numbers.

Early gee matches are just chaos.
Wild shots, sloppy entries, no clean timing.
Everybody thinks the win is some perfect takedown.
Most of the win is staying on your feet, breathing, and letting the spaz burn out. When they finally exhale, that is when balance, timing, and a simple trip actually matter.

Adam and Coach Jeremy highlight a simple but powerful idea: a body in motion stays in motion. Sustainable health is less about chasing max numbers and more about moving well, honoring recovery, and choosing habits that let you show up strong for your family, your work, and the activities you love at every age.
