The Lowell Angels bba season came to a end last week after being swept 3-0.

It was a tremendous season for the Angels finishing 17-3 during the regular season and cake walking to the championship for the second year in a row. Unfortunately timing was not on the teams side with rain outs hurting the chances with both Angels teams forced to play on the same nights . We just became to short handed at the end and ran out of magic . Too many guys from both rosters were missing at the same time Unfortunately . Yet we still showed up and battled the best we could but at the end we came up a little short. We had a tremendous off season adding talent to get over this hump but at the end of the day we lost.

Even tho it's extremely disappointing losing we our proud our guys who still showed up some playing on 1 foot. It takes alot of sacrifice to win and winning is extremely hard. Some factors just are not controllable ( weather, jobs, vacations , injuries and schedule conflicts.

We still showed how remarkable of a organization we are being able to compete in 2 separate leagues at the same time same days and same age bracket . For that I tip my hat off to all the Angels players.

Now we continue to chase the big prize tomorrow night at trum Field game 3 of the semi finals vs the defending champions Somerville Senators .

As for the BBa team. After 2 seasons we will be moving out to the BMBl 18 plus division and will continue to grow the best franchise is Boston Baseball and look forward to a bigger challenge and better competition and more respect.
