Lunch is served Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m to 3:00 p.m, and on Friday nights dinner is served from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Portuguese American Center was founded on November 15, 1954 as an entity to spread Portuguese heritage through soccer, cultural and social events. Lowell's Portuguese community today is made up of immigrants from the Azores,

🥊 Lowell, Massachusetts' Al Mello (Career Record: 43-10, 23 KO's) reigned as New England Welterweight Champion from 1927 - 1931 first winning the title with a 8th round KO over Holyoke's Meyer Cohen (Career Record: 40-20-4, 16 KO's). 🏆
Mello represented the United States in boxing in the welterweight division in the 1924 Olympics held in Paris, France and appeared on the cover of Ring Magazine in March 1927.
