Hey everyone , I don't know if you've heard but Palm Beach County is considering opening up Jim Brandon Equestrian Center to third party private operators due to budget concerns. This is a public park and should remain a public park. The concern is if private investors take over the operation of the park the prices will go up to the point where it's no longer a great starting point for average families and kids who want to ride horses and show. If you can make it to tonight's meeting, we really need a big show of support for keeping the park open and to keep it affordable. Please consider heading downtown this afternoon. Horsing around out here in Oklahoma City at the Arabian Youth & Mid-Summer Nationals with Gina Pengue , Ellie and Alanah. Today is our last day of showing. We pack up and head home bright and early tomorrow morning. It's been an amazing show! We love these kids and horses! The parents are pretty cool, too!
The theme is the Greatest Show Horse!! So I guess that means this is my circus!

Help Wanted - PM Feed 3 nights a week.

And another one is headed off to college! Why do they all grow up and leave us?

Feeders must be at least 16 years old and have experience caring for and handling horses. This is a great position for a full time groom or other horse person to earn some extra money. It takes about an hour to an hour and a half to do (depends on how time efficient you are) and pays well.

INSTRUCTOR POSITION AVAILABLE:
Beginner to Intermediate Riding Instructor: Part time opening at our busy lesson/show barn. This could become a full time position for a hard working go-getter looking to make a career in the horse world.
Must be an experienced rider and be willing to teach our established Right Start Horsemanship curriculum. The job may include some schooling of horses and horse care.
Must have references. Over Fences show experience is a huge plus! Kid and horse-loving, ambitious, energetic person who would like to be a positive influence in the lives of children would be perfect for this job.
