After a bit of hard luck last night in Amarillo, I’m going to be doing a bit of different kind of racing here in Lubbock at LKA.

Off to route66motorspeedway. First time racing at a track outside of Lubbock. Hopefully all goes well.

This year, I will be racing at the Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo with my USRA Limited Modified. My best season of racing came in the final year the Lubbock track was open, where I saw continuous improvement each week. In fact, my best finish that season was 4th place, just behind some of the top drivers in the area.

I firmly believe I have the potential to be a top-tier competitor, but I can't get there without support. Traveling over 100 miles to a track is a significant expense, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. If you'd like to partner with me, I would be honored to represent you and your business/brand on the track.

Fished 3 in the heat now starting 4 in the main. I’m not used to staring up front. Just going to drive it hard and do the best I can.

Small parts cause big problems. Axle seal won’t stay in. 😩

I know the how (contact with piston). But the why will have to be figured out at a different time. For now a shorter plug should suffice until I can look into the bigger issue. I will definitely be running better this weekend at WTR though. Add some tire grooving on top of that and I think I have a chance at a decent finish!

I am USRA official! Ready to get this season started. It’s a whole different world coming from an old heavy street stock, but I look forward to learning the drive of this style of car and hope for a good rookie season. 🏁🏁🏁
