Lubbock Youth Wrestling League – 6 Week Spring Program

The Lubbock Youth Wrestling League is back with our annual Spring Wrestling Camp, a six-week program designed to introduce young athletes to the sport of wrestling in a fun, structured, team environment.

Open to both boys and girls.

Wrestlers will be divided into teams based on the school district they live in, creating a competitive and exciting league atmosphere.

Throughout the program, athletes will learn wrestling from the ground up, including:
• Fundamental wrestling techniques
• Body awareness and coordination
• Wrestling rules and scoring
• Match strategy and how to compete

We will hold matches throughout the program, giving wrestlers real competition experience, and finish the season with an end-of-camp tournament where athletes can earn medals.

No experience is necessary.

There’s no long-term commitment — it’s simply a six-week program where kids can come learn the sport, compete a little, and see if wrestling is something they want to pursue further through middle school, high school, and possibly even into college.
