⚽️ Happy National Coaches Day! ⚽️

Today we want to give a HUGE shoutout to all of the coaches who give their time, energy, patience, and passion to our Lubbock Soccer Association players! 💙

You’re doing so much more than teaching soccer. You’re teaching teamwork, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, and how to be a good teammate. You’re there for the wins, the losses, the rainy Saturdays, the tough practices, the “one more time!” moments, and everything in between. 😂⚽️

Our league simply would not be possible without the countless hours our coaches volunteer for our kids. Thank you for showing up, leading by example, and making a difference in the lives of our players.

To every LSA coach — we appreciate you today and every day! 👏⚽️

💙 Happy National Coaches Day! 💙

🌧️ Weather Policy Reminder: We play in the rain! Games will continue as scheduled unless lightning is present.

⚽️ **WEEK 3 GAME DAY REMINDERS** ⚽️

We have **TWO leagues playing at the same time**, which means heavy traffic and busy fields. Please plan ahead and allow extra time!

🚨 **PARKING**
• **NO parking on the grass**
• **NO triple parking**
• **DO NOT block another vehicle in**
• Park only in designated areas
• **Parking control is issuing tickets and parking rules are being enforced.**

⚽️ **BEHIND THE GOALS**
**Spectators AND coaches may NOT stand, sit, pace or coach from behind the goals while play is taking place.**

Please stay in the designated spectator areas along the sidelines. This is a **player safety issue** and helps referees and coaches manage the game.

💧 **WATER BREAKS**
Referees will call water breaks when appropriate, especially in warm weather. Please make sure your player has plenty of water.

🚗 **DRIVE SAFELY**
Please drive slowly through the complex and watch carefully for children and pedestrians. There will be **a LOT of traffic** before, during and after games.

📣 **PARENT CONDUCT**
Support your player, but please allow coaches and referees to do their jobs. Respectful behavior is expected from everyone.

Thank you for helping us keep game days **safe, organized and enjoyable for everyone!** ⚽️

⚡️ WEATHER & LIGHTNING REMINDER ⚡️

We do play in the rain, but player and spectator safety comes first.

If lightning is detected within 5 miles of the fields, games will be paused. If you are at the fields, you will hear an air horn. 🚨

When you hear the air horn:
➡️ Return to and remain in your vehicle.

➡️ Do not return to the fields until you receive another notification from LSA.

We will post updates on Facebook and send an email/text notification when games are delayed, resume, or are canceled.

⏱️ We will begin with a 30-minute delay. If lightning occurs again after games resume, we may need to cancel the remaining games for the evening.

Please keep an eye on your phone and Facebook for updates. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe! ⚽️
