Tomorrow is the day!! It’s our end of year recital and we have SEVERAL elementary schools and one middle school joining us. I’m so happy to see our Folklorico programs growing in our school district. If you don’t have anything to do tomorrow you should come watch all these talented dancers. They’ve worked so hard. Scan the QR code to get your tickets. Event is FREE but you still need a ticket.

This coming Monday, May 4, 2026 Lubbock ISD is hosting its annual Noche de Folklore concert featuring all the of Ballet Folklorico programs around Lubbock. Come out and support these kids who have worked so hard to show their family and friends what they have been working on! Concert starts at 6pm at the Buddy Holly Hall and it’s FREE! Get your tickets today!

Come catch Gema Folklorico this Saturday at Lubbock’s 13th annual Cinco de Mayo Parade hosted by Los Hermanos Familia! We have the pleasure of walking along side Glasheen, Valles & Inderman, LLP and the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas- Lubbock Chapter. Parade starts at 10am at the First Baptist Church on broadway and Ave U, move east down broadway to Ave M, then North on Ave M ending at the Lubbock Civic Center.

Happy Birthday…… to US!! Gema Folklorico was founded on April 29, 2024! What started as a dream of 5 people, turned into hard work and dedication of 14! We couldn’t be more happy and proud of how far we’ve come to show you our passion for dance and love of our culture! Let’s continue to grow together!
