NWA New Mexico | Duke City Championship Wrestling are proud to welcome Stripes Burrito Co. as an official partner!

We’re excited to have a New Mexico company that believes in supporting local communities join our growing family of partners. Stripes has built its reputation on great food, local roots, and giving back throughout our state.

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of "The Handgun" Daniel King.

On behalf of South Plains Championship Wrestling, we want to extend our deepest condolences to Daniel's family, friends, and the countless fans and wrestlers whose lives he touched throughout his career.

For me personally, I can still remember attending my very first live independent wrestling show as a 16 year old fan in my hometown of Brownfield, Texas and watching Daniel King perform in my school gym. His character work made me believe in pro wrestling again that night. In many ways, seeing him perform helped inspire me to begin pursuing my own journey behind the curtain.

Through the years, every interaction I had with Dan was met with kindness, respect, and professionalism. His legacy will live on through the memories he created and the people he inspired.

Rest In Peace, Daniel King.

For the first time after 10 long years we’ve been forced to sit back and ask ourselves one question.

What’s next for SPCW?

After one of the biggest years in company history, the road ahead looks different than it ever has before. Victories. Wars. Memories. Packed buildings. New faces. Old enemies.

But every promotion reaches a crossroads.

We know it’s been quiet lately. That silence hasn’t been by accident. Behind the scenes, conversations have been happening that will affect the future of South Plains Championship Wrestling.

Whether we like it or not…
Next week… we break the silence.
