Even though we came up short of winning a seat on the Angelina College Board of Trustees, I am very proud of our Campaign Committee and what we were able to accomplish. We can all be proud that we received a total of 715 votes, considering the tremendous hurdles and obstacles that we had to overcome. Also, because there is NO FAILURE in God, I am satisfied that we worked hard within the campaign and made a positive statement regarding the politics of appointing vs. electing Angelina College Board of Trustees. The community has been educated to the fact that this is an ELECTED POSITION! Thanks for your prayers, votes, and any other support that you may have given during the campaign. Mrs. Allen and I are appreciative of your kindness.

Thanks to all of you who voted during Early Voting. We have done a fanstic job of "getting out the vote." We must continue to press to get our people to vote on Election Day, Saturday, May 5th. The final campagin meeting will be held today @6:30 pm. .Beulah Baptist Church. We need your help, as we enter the final stretch of the campaign.Hope 2 c u 2nite.

Good Thursday morning to all. The election committee for my campaign to serve on the Angelina College Board of Trustees will meet 2nite @ 6:30, Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. Hope that as many of u as possibe will be present. Early Voting has started and many of our people are voting early. God is in Control, and we must do our part to bring about orderly change within our community!!!

The Lufkin Downtown spring festival was well attended God blessed us with a cloudy day---not too cold and not to hot. The rain held off untill late afternoon, near closing time. The campaign was well represented, distributed lots of campaign literature. We were possibly the only cadidate for the AC board of Trustees with rental space/booth. At least, we were not told of any other representation.Thanks to all the workers and those who visited out booth.We are headed down the final stregth. Let's finish strong!!! Everyone try to carry atleast one other person with you to vote! God bless and have a great worship experience tomorrow.

The Campagin Committee will meet 2nite @ Mt.Beulah Baptist Church, 6:30 pm. Very crucial meeting, as early voting begins Monday, April 23rd. All subcommittees are requested to be prepared to make ur reports. We are headed down the final stretch, we must finalize our plans to help us cross the finish line victoriously! Remember that God is n control, but we must do our part in order to b successful. Thanks 4 ur prayers n support!

Great planning meeting last night. Thanks for those who were able to attend. Those who were unable to attend, we missed you, but understand your other commitments. Our next meeting is Thursday, April 19th @ 6:30 pm. Also, hope that the sub-committees will meet between now and the April 19th meeting. All praises to our Mighty God n His Son, Jesus Christ.
