2022 Hillsborough County Championships | TRC Race Management CONGRATS TO EVERYONE THAT QUALIFIED FOR OUR COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP MEET! THIS IS A BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT! Our county has 28 public High Schools and only the top 16 make it into this meet! (Also, If you qualified in a Relay make sure you know that you are expected to be available to run it) Bus leaves at 11:00 am on Wednesday. Athletes are marked school business starting at 10:40 am. Meet day is Wednesday, April 11, 2022 If you didn't qualify for the County meet --Please remember that our District meet is still two weeks away so we need you to stay focused and sharp so we can compete at our highest level at that meet. Below message is from the Wharton High School coaches. "Good evening coaches!! You can find the heat sheets HERE. If you notice any errors, please let me know as soon as possible! Team tent area will be behind/on the away bleachers. We will have garbage bags available for every team.



I have the following assignments for Wednesday. Please let me know if there are any issues. We will have all the necessary equipment. Ideally, we are finished with all field events (minus javelin) before the 4x800 at 3 pm, but we will definitely be done by 4:45 pm, when running finals begin. I will be on the practice field to assist with throwing events and Coach Martin and Coach Mitchell will be at the track to assist with the jumps.

Reminder that we are hosting our Steinbrenner Invitational on April 9th and would like to have as many volunteers as possible to help! (Students and Parents) Field events -marking/measuring, raking, setting up cross bars for High Jump and Pole Vault, etc Parking - assisting with parking Athlete check in and number distribution for distance runners- All Running athletes will check in at our new gate located behind and beside the two sheds at the south end of our track. Clerk assistant- having athletes prepared (with lane and heat assignments) to head to their races when called. Awards tent - We have Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in every event and will acknowledge our top three finishers throughout the meet. Athletes gate supervision: Athletes will use new gate located near our concession stand to enter the long and triple jump area in the morning and then as an exit when their field events and running events have concluded. I will need adult supervision in that area to control athletes and coaches etc. (Will be a great view of the long and triple jumps and also the start and finish line area!) Coaches/Officials Hospitality: Assist and supervise in our hospitality area and help coordination of water to our officials etc. Please contact Coach Baldwin at 813-545-6695 or email [email protected] .
