Buddy Run 5K and Fun Run

CBS affiliate 10 Tampa Bay did a nice feature on the Buddy Run and Buddy Baseball this weekend. Here is the first of two reports that aired on Sunday. Thanks to Suncoast Credit Union for being our Presenting Sponsor and ensuring the continued support of this wonderful program.

Buddy Run 5K raises money for kids with special needs For parents and kids, this is an opportunity to socialize and spend time with other children. Each player gets a buddy, a spot in the dugout and a big cheer.

Stellar day for the 15th Buddy Run yesterday! Congratulations to our overall and masters winners - Sam Tabor 18:37, Alison Esposito 21:16, Jon Williams 20:13 and Kathy Miller 24:52. They each received a medal and a $50 gift card to Nabruzzi Trattoria!

And to our 1 mile winners - 10 yo Addy Esposito 7:24 and 6 yo Watson Tabor 7:40. Proving that apples don't fall too far from the tree!

And finally, our 50/50 raffle winner - Deven Khanna who splits the total pot of $2655!

We stuffed over 200 goody bags for the Buddy Run 5K and Fun Run this Sunday at lunch time today. Thanks to all of the volunteers. We were done in no time!
