🏀 2026 Adam Ward Preseason Showcase 🏀

We are honored to be one of four programs invited to compete in this year’s Adam Ward Preseason Showcase.

Adam Ward was a bright light in the Salem community whose life was taken far too soon. Since 2016, the Adam Ward Classic has honored his memory while raising funds for scholarships and other worthy causes—all while encouraging others to make a positive difference by being  .

For the first time in four years, the preseason showcase will feature two exhibition games. We’re excited to face one of Roanoke Valley’s premier programs, North Cross, in a preview of our regular-season matchup on January 2.

🏀 7:30 PM: North Cross vs. Liberty Christian

It will be a great night featuring some of Virginia’s top local, prep and postgraduate programs—but the mission is much bigger than basketball. We’re proud to help honor Adam’s legacy and spread his message.

We always look forward to making the trip to Salem each fall to compete at Roanoke College — one of the premier D3 programs in the country and recent ODAC Champions.

We’ve got a STACKED 3-game schedule this year:

🏆 George Washington (WV) — Defending WV 4A State Champions
🥈 Stuart Hall — VISAA D3 State Runner-Up

🏀 Four Bulldogs. Four Ranked Prospects. 🐾📈

Four of our guys are currently ranked in their respective classes by PrepHoops Virginia:

🔴 SR Colton Davis — ’27 | #87
🔵 JR Luke Tomlin — ’28 | #93
🔴 JR Miles Davis — ’28 | #100
🔵 SO JoJo Deyo — ’29 | #88

Well-deserved recognition for four guys who continue to put in the work.

📈 Shoutout to Colton Davis, who made a HUGE jump — moving 58 spots from 145 to 87 in the state. Colton put together a big-time summer and has continued to earn attention from college coaches. Now it’s time to carry that momentum into his senior season.

And we believe there are a few more Bulldogs who deserve to — and eventually will — find their way onto these lists.

Wouldn’t surprise us one bit to see all four continue climbing as the season unfolds. 😤

🇺🇸 9.11.01 — NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸

2️⃣5️⃣ years later, it is still the day that changed our country forever.

Yesterday, we gathered as a team in our locker room to talk about September 11, 2001 — a day that none of our players were alive to witness. In fact, only the coaches in the room were alive when our country was attacked on our own soil.

💔 We remembered the nearly 3,000 men and women who lost their lives that day.

🚒🚔🚑 We remembered the firefighters, police officers, first responders, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger when everyone else was trying to get out. Men and women who entered those towers knowing they might not come back out, but went anyway with one mission:

✅️ Get one more person out.

That's sacrifice.
That's courage.
That's what it means to be a teammate.

🪖 We remembered and gave thanks for the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who answered the call in the years that followed — including those who made the ultimate sacrifice serving our country.

🤝 We also talked about how united America became in the days after 9/11. Differences suddenly didn't seem so important. We were Americans. We prayed together. We mourned together. We stood together. 🇺🇸

One day changed our country forever.

25 years later, it's our responsibility to make sure the next generation understands what happened, remembers those we lost, and honors those who sacrificed.

Always Remember. Never Forget.
