Since 1981, Lyndon State College (now NVU-Lyndon) has represented and entertained the students and fans of Vermont's North East Kingdom. Playing in NERFU's Developmental North Division, the Hornets play with a week-in-and-week-out rugged intensity on the pitch that honors the legacy of Rugby in Vermont.
