Main Street Gym

Many of you may be aware of the police presence at our gym today. A resident of the upstairs apartment exhibited erratic and psychotic behavior, engaging in lewd acts and threatening behavior that resulted in property damage. In light of this individual's overtly psychotic behavior, Joe made the decision to request police assistance, particularly given the presence of a teen boxing class at the time. This was deemed the safest course of action to address the dangerous behavior. The Vermont State Police response time was approximately one hour, during which time the individual had returned to his apartment and refused to open the door to the authorities. Consequently, no further action was taken. This individual poses a significant threat to the community, and it is imperative that he be held accountable for his actions, particularly given the presence of teenagers engaging in positive and safe activities. Our gym will continue to operate as it has for the past seven and a half years. Joe will be contacting the Lyndonville Police Department in the morning to request their assistance in ensuring the safety of our boxers through an increased police presence in the area.

The gym will be open during the Light up Lyndonville Parade this Saturday.
There will be free hot cocoa and candy canes available.

This weekend is the last “official” weekend of summer.
Gym hours will resume the regular schedule effective Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025

Rock Steady-
Tues and Thurs: 930am, 1100 am and 1230 pm as well as Sat 930-1100 am

Teens- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday’s- 330 pm- 430 pm

Adults- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays- 445pm - 600 pm

No Saturday youth classes at this time

Summer Hours - effective July 4, 2025

Rock Steady - Tuesday and Thursday
3 classes daily: 0930-1100, 1100-1230, and 1230-1400

Teens - Monday and Wednesday
330-430

Adults - Monday and Wednesday
430-530

Decreasing hours in the summer allows the coaches to recharge. We hope everyone has a wonderful summer!

Northern New England Golden Gloves starts this Saturday and our fighters would love to have you in the crowd.

The gym will be open during the parade on Saturday, December 21st. It’s supposed to be pretty chilly so stop in to warm your toes and have a cup of cocoa.

The gym will close at noon on Christmas Eve and reopen on Thursday, December 26th

This event is happening this Saturday. Plan ahead for parking- especially the Rock Steady class that will be leaving at 11.
After class stay in the Ville’ for a minute and grab lunch !

There is currently a swift water rescue happening in Lyndonville- rushing water is not a joke!
Please make a smart choice - your one hour workout isn’t worth risking a life for.
