Bike check of the official shop bike and my personal mtb. This bike does gravel fine a little slow in the smooth stuff but in the more rugged it’s perfect.

The official shop bike took a nice wet n snowy ride yesterday at St Edward’s state park in Kirkland. Very fun but super slushy. I got soaked. Gonna invest in a front fender and rear fender. Although they won’t help completely they should help a little. This bike is 25 years old and is almost all original. It has been maintained well. It has modern flat pedals and slightly upgraded brake pads. Although the rest is all original. The trails at this place all mostly green and blue. Although, I have taken this bike on black trails too. Please let me know if you are interested in getting out there this winter in one of our shop group rides. If your bike needs any help over the winter I would be happy to help. Now is the season with no wait. Take advantage.

my vintage 50 dollar mtb took a ride today 58 miles of gravel. After going through the bike and tuning it up she ride great. A quality vintage used bike can be an excellent purchase. Much easier and cheaper to maintain. An all the same fun.
