After retiring from the track in 2023, Flo competed in the 2024 Retired Racehorse Project, where she was restarted in Western Dressage. Since then, her current owner has done casual trail riding and arena flatwork with her however, Flo is happiest when she has a job and truly thrives on consistency.
Due to her owners lifestyle, she's simply not getting the regular work she enjoys, and it's been recognized that Flo would excel with someone who can keep her in a steady program.
Flo has a lovely walk, trot, and canter. She picks up both leads with ease and has smooth, correct departures. She understands leg pressure well, side passes both directions, moves her shoulders and hips willingly, and has a solid foundation of groundwork and basic riding skills.
She's a fun, athletic mare with plenty of potential for someone looking for a versatile partner to continue developing.
