Marion Road Gun Club provides a safe, friendly and helpful environment for shooters to pursue their sport in the Macon and Middle Georgia area. Our club has a diverse membership that enjoys a wide variety of individual and organized shooting activities. We emphasize that applicants DO NOT need to be sponsored by an existing member. Membership at MRGC is NOT based on who you know, how you look or what you shoot. The membership process begins when you submit your application. We meet at 7:00pm on the third Tuesday of each month at the American Legion Post 3 on Thomaston Road in Macon, Georgia. A wide variety of shooting competitions are held on a monthly basis. Check out our web site for scheduled matches. Never shot in a competition before? It's lots of fun and you'll meet a lot of friendly people doing so. Come on out and shoot!! Our fee schedule and requirements are most reasonable. Applicants must pass a background check ($20), pay a $100 Initiation Fee and regular annual dues. Our annual dues are as follows:

On 10/24/26, our monthly Bullseye Pistol Match fell on a beautiful fall morning. We had nine pistoleros vying for the top position, five shooting .22LR and four shooting center fire. Optics and iron sights were both used. It was a great day with great people!

Come join us on 28 November. First shots at 9! We always say that you don't have to be a member to participate, but why not JOIN the best gun club in Middle Georgia? There's something going on just about every weekend for every age and skill level. We also host Appleseed R***e and Pistol Clinics throughout the year.

Perhaps you've been wanting to check out our facilities or see what competition shooting is all about. Match days are the perfect time to do just that. During a match, our gates are open and spectators are welcome! Bring eye and ear protection and come on out!

****ATTENTION ALL MRGC MEMBERS****

WE STILL NEED A FEW MORE MEMBERS FOR THIS WORKDAY

On Saturday November 14th we will be having a much needed work day.

We will be clearing the volunteer trees and brush on the pistol range berms.

We need several able bodied members to come out and assist with this project.

We have been struggling mightily to get participation for our work days. The clubs ongoing maintenance has continued to fall to a few faithful members. We need 5-10 people to make this project go quickly.

Remember, each MRGC member is REQUIRED to have at least 4-hours of volunteer service to the club or pay a $50 fee.

Please bring:

Work gloves and glasses

Brush clearing tools

Bug spray

Sign up here by replying "I'll be there" below.
