Just an update!

The s***t fields on 1 & 2 are back operational as well as Trap 1 & 2. The others field are currently still not operational.

Sporting clays are operating as well.

Just letting everyone know that due to a direct lightning hit Thursday evening all s***t fields are currently down. The 2 trap fields and sporting clays are available at this time.

Uncertain of the 5-stand at this time. We will update as repairs are completed.

Just a reminder that this year’s Annual Board of Directors Election meeting will be held on Thursday July 30, 2026 at 6:00pm in the ORGC clubhouse. Following the election, we will continue the Chili Dog supper for anyone who wants to stay around and socialize after the elections are over.

Plan to come out and support the club during this time and enjoy the fellowship with those involved.

Big shout out to Daniel at Monster Clean Pressure Washing LLC for the great job at the club!!! Now all the buildings and concrete are clean and ready for the upcoming shooting season. If you have any pressure washing needs reach out them.

It’s a great time to come out and break some clays!!! Come check out our s***t and trap fields, as well the covered 5-stand and recently changed sporting course. The weather is looking great the next few days, so it’s as good a time as any to come out and shoot.

If you have never shot at Elbert County Gun Club you don’t know what you’re missing!!! If you are wondering , it’s definitely worth making a special trip to shoot in the old granite mines. It’s different than anywhere you have ever shot.

We would like to send a HUGE congratulations to Will Atkinson for finishing Runner Up and Junior Champion in the Doubles event at the Ga Stake S***t Championship!!! This is a well deserved honor and comes from many hours of time and dedication to the sport. No one deserves it anymore than he does. We are also proud to have him as one of our members!!!
