2️⃣ different tracks, 1️⃣ epic weekend.

🔥Ignite Challenge presented by Skip Barber Racing School rolls on to the Chicagoland Doubleheader for Rounds 2 & 3! That's right - two full days of racing compiled into one awesome weekend.

🏁June 13➡ We kick off the weekend with our return to Norway Motorsports Park in Sheridan, IL for the third time. A fast, flowy circuit, topped off with a "Monza" turn, creates the ultimate challenge.

🏁June 14➡ The doubleheader is capped off with another visit to the beautiful Kart Circuit Autobahn in Joliet, IL. As part of Autobahn Country Club, this event at KCA will feature the return of a very popular track layout. Stay tuned. 👀

🏆Our third year of the Chicagoland Doubleheader allows Ignite Challenge racers to pack more racing into one weekend. That's less weekends away from home & lighter on the annual karting budget. Fuel your passion & race with us in Chi-town next month!

After racing a few events out of town, Charlotte, New Castle, and Iowa, it was time to return to our home track of Badger Kart Club. With 22 Senior Mediums in our class, it was a bit of a challenge. Louis was pretty good at the start, but we made adjustments to make the kart better as the day went on. Fast time, finishing a close 3rd in the heat race, gave him a good starting position for the 16 lap feature. Running in the top 4 most of the race, Louis made a good move to get into P2, and had a good battle with Brady Schad Racing to finish second right behind him.

This past Saturday, Louis and the LPR crew went to one of our favorite tracks, 61 Kartway in Delmar Iowa. The opening round of the Ignite Challenge presented by Skip Barber Racing School. One of only a couple Challenge races, we are scheduled to compete in this year. It was a fun and interesting event, seeing it was the first Night Challenge event in a very long time. Qualified 5th quick, ran strong in the first feature. Running 3rd,on the last lap, the leader got together with a lapped kart, gave Louis a P2.
Not so lucking on the nite feature, running 6th in the race, slide off the track after one lap, ending our race nite.☹️
