IT'S RACE DAY!

Happy Independence Day!

Today, July 4th = Packet pick-up at Crawley Heating & Cooling, 11-2

Tomorrow, July 5th = Registration from 6:45-7:30, Race at 8!

We want to remind everyone that if you registered after June 19th at 11:59 p.m., you will not get a shirt and race swag with your registration. We will have a limited number of extra shirts available for sale Friday and Saturday while supplies last for $10 each. “Vintage” race shirts will be for sale for $5 each, and various swag such as magnets, totes/drawstring bags, chapstick, alligator clips, and keychain flashlights will be for sale for a minimal fee.
We are still taking registrations! If you sign-up today or tomorrow, the cost is $35. However, on race morning, the cost goes up to $40. Make sure to register now to avoid that $5 price change on Saturday.

ALL participants get a finisher’s medal no matter when you registered!

New this year…There will be an award and recognition for first place male and first place female walkers!

Shirts and swag! Swing by Crawley Heating & Cooling from 11-2 on July 4th for packet pick-up and grab yours. You can also register a friend.

We wanted to share a couple things about the 10K race with you…
It’s all good if you are not in the front when the race starts. Your chip timer will not start until you cross the start line mat. So, if you are not feeling like being in front with the elite on Saturday but you still want an accurate time, do not worry! Stuart Road Racing has you covered!

Madison Firecracker 10K The Madison Firecracker 10K is on Saturday July 5, 2025. It includes the following events: 10K Run and 10K Walk.

The Madison Area Run Club is proud to announce that the 46th Annual Madison Firecracker 10K Honorary Starter is Kristopher Sandlin. Kris is no stranger to running or this race, having won it a record nine times.

Kris is a graduate of Franklin College where he ran cross country and track. He currently teaches Physical Education at Madison Junior High. In addition to teaching, he serves as the Madison Consolidated High School Varsity Cross Country and Track team coach. A big advocate for the sport, we are thrilled to have him as our honorary starter for this year's race.

A big thank you to Madison Trolley Line and North Madison Christian Church for the transportation back to the start line and our cars race day!

Don't forget your wallet. Refuel with Steel & Steam Coffee Company! They will be serving up coffee, cold brew, lotus, protein smoothies, and muffins.
