Dates = fiber, protein, potassium, magnesium, copper, manganese, iron, vit b6, antioxidants, unrefined!
Sheep cheese, almond crackers, and dates 😋
All in good moderation!

I feel like my kids would've loved growing up in the 80's. They LOVE anything I make with tuna!
Tortilla tuna melts:
Canned tuna
Avocado mayo
Celery, purple cabbage, broccoli, peppers, radishes
Season with pepper
Spoon mixture into tortillas, top with cheese and throw into the oven at 375 until golden.
Tortilla brands: almond flour tortillas and uncooked flour tortillas (which I precooked)
Cheese: Bang Bang triple play cheese andsheep cheddar; Colby jack cheese

Fall is here, so let's enjoy some comfort foods!!
Smashed potatoes and carrots!
-Pressure cooker for 4-6 min.
-Place on parchment paper coated with EVOO and a pinch of salt and pepper (not too much, because you'll be seasoning the top too!)
-SMASH EM! (I've used a spatula, plate, fork, sometimes my hand, which gets a little hot.)
-Sprinkle with EVOO, salt, and pepper.
425 Oven until crispy. I have flipped halfway, and I have also not flipped and broiled a little for some extra crispiness. Both ways work and one requires less work 😉

Chronic stress does a number on mind and body.
Stress on the body isn't just related to work, school, family, or a busy life...Stress on your body can also come from how you take care of yourself, in ways of sleep, food, exercise, mental care, etc.

S.T.R.E.S.S.
#2 on my hormone disruptor list (see previous post).
STRESS, such a common word. Such a normal feeling...but should it be?
Stress can be good - it helps us in difficult, dangerous situations; it helps us get the job done. But stress all the time??? That leads to CHRONIC STRESS.
Not only does chronic stress affect hormones, but look at other ways it can wreak havoc on your body.
▪︎Insulin resistance
▪︎Heart disease
▪︎Depression
▪︎Mood disorders
▪︎Hormone imbalances
▪︎Thyroid disease
▪︎Weakened immune system
You may not notice it now; you may not notice it next year....but when you do notice it in 10 years, you might regret not nipping it in the butt earlier!

First listed hormone disruptor (on my previous post) is POOR SLEEP!
Here are some tips and tricks.
Poor sleep most likely will not be cured overnight. Make a routine, a few changes at a time, give it a couple weeks!!

Easy packed meal for work!
●Hard boiled eggs and sautéed veggies!
Sautee some extra veggies when prepping dinner.
Use either store bought or pre-made hard boiled eggs and your breakfast/lunch/snack is done.
It's as easy as that!
