Madison RC Sailing

2026 radio controlled sailing season has started, Mondays 5-7pm. Park near 429 Gammon Place. Because of varying winds, sometimes we park at other locations around the pond to launch different shores.

Docks and buoys are out and thanks to all who came to help remove them before things start freezing. Bill has taken the task on of refreshing the buoys for next year and many thanks to him in advance.

It was smooth sailing this past Saturday at the Pond. Good turn out and we got in 6 to 7 races before the wind stopped.

RC Sailing season continues at the West Towne Pond on Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:30. Photo is from tight finish this past Saturday on the pond. Light turnout as many were attending the DF 95 regatta on Lake Belle View. We look forward to seeing how our Madison area sailors did at the regatta and will post results when we have them.

Come help put the docks and marks in tomorrow at 4pm. Everything is loaded onto a trailer to bring to the ponds edge. Jay has done the dock and marks for the last several years and needs some to help at the end of this year. He will take the docks away, but needs someone to help unload and pressure wash them before storing them for the winter. He WILL NOT be taking the 20 marks and making them ready for the next year and we need someone to volunteer to take this over.
