The ALCS/SAA baseball season ended last week with a loss to the #5 seed Waterloo Pirates. Congrats to the team and school on our first season back playing Vatsity baseball which was marked by a lot of enthusiasm and some good improvement by the end of the year!

Challengers 12, The Lincoln Academy 1.

The ALCS /SAA Challengers had a dominant win against The Lincoln Academy on Thursday at Warner Park.

LJ led the team on offense going 2-2 (triple and single) with an additional walk and multiple stolen bases. Edmund pitched 4 innings giving up only 3 hits and 1 unearned run. Freshman Josiah pitched the last inning closing out the game with 2 strikeouts.

Next up, the Challengers play in Regionals @ Waterloo on May 28th 5:00pm.

Earlier this week, the ALCS/SAA/MCDS golf team captured the Trailways South Conference Championship with their performance at Mascoutin in the Trailways Golf Tournament. The with the Teams in the North in attendance, the points for this match count for double in the Conference standings. Whoever scored better in this invite between Williams Bay and the Challengers would take home the trophy and our guys pulled it off! Way to go Challengers! Next up is Regionals on Tuesday.

Results from Wednesdays Relay Track and Field event at LaFollette. Three more program records fell! The team is back at it on Tuesday for Regionals, where we expect several athletes to advance!

The ALCS/SAA baseball team came from behind to beat Williams Bay on Tuesday night. The game was tied 4-4 in the bottom of the 7th with the Challengers up. Evan O led off the inning with an infield single between 2nd and Shortstop. He advanced to third with a stolen base and passed ball. Everett sealed the deal with a deep walk-off sac fly. Well done guys! Next up is the regular season finale vs The Lincoln Academy at Warner Park 1:30 Thursday afternoon.
