Our 2026 appointed sailing chairs! They help keep our club running smoothly, and it’s a great way to get involved without all the responsibilities of being an elected eboard member.

We are a group of students at Michigan Tech dedicated to expanding access to sailing by providing opportunities for students of all experience levels. This spans from teaching the basics to traveling all over the Midwest to compete against other collegiate teams.
As a club, our most important goal is access and safety for all Tech Students. We are looking to update our safety and training supplies so that all members can be included, regardless of financial ability.
Some ways we promote inclusive safety include:
- Variety of drysuit sizes available for practice and competitions
- A large number of lifejackets so our large club can all practice safely
- Finding safe housing and transportation when competing
- Keeping our boats and equipment properly maintained
Please consider supporting our mission to make sailing safe and accessible by sharing our fundraiser and donating to our club. Support from our community has allowed our club to continue growing, and we were able to take over 60 people sailing on our boats last semester alone.
