What happens when the people who spend their lives pouring out finally have a place to receive?
Dr. Chelsea has attended Heal the Healers gatherings before. This is how she described the experience:
“Each time I come home full of spiritual food and Biblical knowledge, charged to serve better.”
I love that.
Because Heal the Healers was never meant to be simply another place for healthcare professionals to acquire more information.
We already spend our lives learning.
Sometimes the healer needs to be filled again.
To receive.
To be encouraged in our faith.
To grow in Biblical understanding.
To encounter God.
And then to return to the places He has called us to serve with something fresh to give.
That is the kind of space we are creating in Boston this October.
Come be refreshed, restored, and equipped.

What if you’re doing all the “right” Christian things… but deep down, you know there has to be more?
You love Jesus. You go to church. You serve. You pray.
But what if following Jesus was never meant to feel like more striving—or simply doing more Christian things?
In this week’s episode of The Christian Physician Podcast, I sit down with surgeon and ordained minister Dr. Matthew Suh for a powerful conversation about what happened when God began challenging everything he thought he knew about following Jesus.
We talk about burnout and surrender. Hearing the voice of Jesus. Miraculous healing. The gift of faith. The Holy Spirit. And what it can actually look like to integrate faith and medicine—not just in theory, but in real life.
If you’ve found yourself hungry for more of God—but you’re not quite sure what “more” looks like—this conversation is for you.

Healthcare professionals spend so much of their lives pouring out.
Caring. Carrying. Showing up. Making decisions. Holding space for other people’s pain.
But who pours back into the healer?
That is one reason worship will have such a significant place at the Heal the Healers Conference.
Not as filler between lectures.
Not as a performance.
But as space to pause. To turn our attention back to Jesus. To receive prayer. To listen. And to allow the Lord to restore the places that have become depleted.
And I can think of few people better suited to help create that kind of space than Jason Upton.
We are incredible grateful that Jason will be joining us in Boston to lead an extended time of worship and ministry on Friday.
For decades, his ministry has carried something that deeply resonates with the heart behind Heal the Healers: worship that is less about a platform or a flashy performance and more about creating room for the presence of God. A space to listen, respond, receive, and be ministered to.
Because this conference isn't only about learning more about healing.
It is also about allowing God to minister to the healers themselves.
If you are tired, discouraged, depleted or simply aware that you have been giving more than you have been receiving consider this your invitation.
Come and let someone minister to you for a change.
Come be renewed.
Come be refreshed.
Come receive.
Healed. Restored. Equipped.
