The Rumba and Waltz box steps may follow a similar pattern, but they should feel completely different! 💃

✨ Rumba: quick-quick-slow timing, grounded movement, and Cuban motion
✨ Waltz: smooth 1-2-3 timing, rise and fall, and continuous flow

A common beginner mistake in salsa is bouncing up and down with every step.

Think less about stepping onto each foot and more about smoothly transferring your weight through the floor. Rolling through the feet helps keep your movement grounded, controlled, and much smoother.
