It’s not you it’s your system.
Being more consistent isn’t an action plan.
How are you going to eat more do the foods you should?
How are you going to move your body more when you don’t feel like it?
Why are you going to shut your phone off sooner so you can get the sleep you need?
Shout out to our new porch cat Franky 😉
You already know what’s draining you.
But what are you going to do about it?
Don’t shame yourself but be honest.
Where are you leaving success and goals at the door?! 🚪
Most people think change starts with motivation.
But when motivation withers you have to ask…
Is what I’m actually doing in alignment with my goals?
Does this habit match the life I say I want?
If I say I want more energy…
Does scrolling until midnight support that?
If I say I want to feel stronger…
Am I giving myself chances to move?
If I say I want peace…
Why do I keep giving energy to people who drain me?
If I say I want confidence…
Am I keeping small promises to myself?
Change doesn’t always start with a 12-week plan.
Sometimes it starts with telling yourself the truth.
Not judging yourself.
Not hating yourself.
Just noticing what’s happening and responding differently.
Because fitness coaching isn’t just sets, reps, macros, and protein.
It’s helping people connect the dots between what they say they want and what they repeatedly practice.
Set a boundary before you set a goal.
A goal says, “I want to work out 3x/week.”
A boundary says, “I’m not giving my entire evening to my phone anymore.”
And that’s a lot of what I help people with in one-on-one coaching:
Not just knowing what to do like: the macros, the training program that is important but not the game changer everyone thinks.
Even AI can outline a plan and macros…
But building the habits, boundaries, and confidence to actually follow through.
Nothing else to say here.
What’s on the menus this week?
Korean beef meals . Breakfast sandwiches. Chicken curry. Chocolate chip cookies. 🍪 (not featured, see story)
Whatever you’re having for dinner… make 2-3x the normal amount for the week.
That’s it.

In case you missed it on our gym page here is a post that expands on a recent talk I gave! 🤓
Attention: Keyboard Warriors, Tear it down Taras, Gossip Queens, Negative Nancys, etc.
I understand it isn’t easy, but it is possible because you can literally rewire your brain. 🧠 The negativity bias is a very real thing and not a place you want to spend too much time.
By no means am I downplaying it if you’re going through something right now.
Seasonal affective disorder—yep, not talking about that either.
I’m talking about the regular social normalization of this type of chronic negativity.
I keep saying, and probably will in a video soon, if your happiness window is excessively small—whether that’s for what you’re doing, the weather, the temperature, or just what makes you happy—a lot of times anything outside of that window is going to cause some level of mood shift or unhappiness.
So what happens if, instead of having an extremely narrow window, let’s say, for example, of weather/temperature that you like, you can appreciate something a little hotter, a little cooler, or less “perfect”?
This applies to so much more than weather; it’s just something we talk about here in the Midwest… a little bit too much.
Spread. More. Positivity.
Is this a mindset shift you’re open to adapting, or just a bunch of BS?
Felt vulnerable but real and uncut. Even after weeks of prepping for this, i wasn’t expecting to feel like this.
Keep going.
Thank you 🤤 I’m way too excited to share this…If you’re into spicy, it’s a must try. 🌶️ 🥵
