Applications are now open for Social Co-Chair on the Executive Board!

Selected applicants will be invited to interview with the Executive Board on 9/22
The Social Chair is responsible for organizing and leading social events in the club. This can range from book clubs, intramural sports, trip planning socials, campfires, movie screenings, really anything!

The Social Chair also sits on the Executive Board and helps discuss/introduce new policies, help with club administration, and vote on new board members.

Through Basecamp - our signature outdoor program - participants build confidence, and form lasting connections. Gifts help make Basecamp possible by covering the trip fees and removing financial barriers so that any student can participate.
With this funding, we will be able to provide students with an opportunity to start their college journey in the outdoors, forming close bonds and grow into leadership roles. Our $5,000 fundraising goal will help to support two more years of this life-changing program. BASECAMP 2026!

Save the date! The weekend of September 18-20th, 36 first-year students will get to travel to Hartman Creek State Park and take part in backpacking, paddling, and mountain biking orientations. It’s the perfect way to kickstart your time in Outing, meet new people, and get your ratings! Plus, this trip is completely free!

A long journey filled with a lot of love for the outdoors 🫶 The epic roadtrip saga led Hoofers to Wichita Mountains, Big Bend National Park, Guadalupe Mountains, Carlsbad Caverns, White Sands National Park, Palo Duro Canyon, and Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve!
