Spent the day at World Wide Technology Raceway for the first points race of the season. Had a lot of good races, ended up taking the win against my buddy Neil’s 02 Trans Am in the final.

Long weekend at the Gateway Motorsports Park Super Chevy Race. First time bracket racing with the new motor in the blue 01 Formula Saturday. Took the win Sportsman and got a nice Super Chevy jacket! Made it to the ladder in Pro and picked up a little money there as well. Sunday made it a few rounds in the red 01 Formula but didn't get the Wally. Made about 30 passes between the 2 days. Paul Hagen did good as well.

Another great weekend at Gateway Motorsports Park, got down to 4 cars yesterday in Sportsman, and won Sportsman tonight. Ended up racing my dad in another final.

At the beginning of the weekend I was 5th in points, and managed to make my way up to 2nd place overall for the season! Also competed in the King of the Track and made it 2nd round, losing by just (.003) Three thousandths of a second against a motorcycle!

Now we have to get both cars ready for the NHRA Division 3 Finals at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis in 2 weeks. Thanks PUR Performance for all your help, as well as Tuning by Shane Hinds for making our cars run so consistent.

7/30/16 Gateway Saturday Bracket Race

Made a total of 14 passes in my car between the normal points race and the extra RWD Street Driven bracket race afterwards. Got the bye run to the final in Sportsman, but runnered up after going red by -.004 . In the RWD class, I also got the bye to the final after cutting a perfect .000 reaction time. It was an all Hagen final with both of my red Formula's squaring off. It was a close race but I took the win in my 2001 Formula.

Also made 3 passes in a friends 68 Chevelle in between the RWD class rounds and got him his best pass of 12.996 @ 107

Made it to the final and took 2nd place at the Mike Musgrove Memorial Race yesterday. Was awesome of Gateway to hold an event honoring him, he was a great person. I was also excited to get one of the special trophies.

Saw some friends and picked up a neat trophy tonight at the St. Louis Auto Racing Fan Club banquet. Thanks again PUR Performance and everyone else that helped me this past year. Next up is the Gateway Motorsports Park banquet in a few weeks.
