Woot woot! Third place (lost the tie breaker) brisket at Grizzly BBQ Brawl. Such a great time and event! Full update coming later. For now, it’s rinse and repeat at the inaugural Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company BBQ Smokeout.

That’s a wrap from Madison Ribberfest 2025. Pork and brisket hung mid-pack, nothing to write home about. And ribs… yeah… apparently one judge thought they were in Jurassic Park and went full raptor on the bone. 🦖 Who eats the bone at a BBQ contest?!

Big shoutout to our Ohio BBQ family — Sailor Nick’s BBQ(10th overall), Salted Anchor Barbecue (12th), and JMB BBQ (25th). Glad to see the Buckeye crew holding it down.
