Meal Prep!

Body By Abb has taken a major back seat lately, I’m in 16 credits and working 30+ hours 🥵🤯
But finally having a second to breathe and do a little meal prep and some time at the gym feels so so good. How did you take care of yourself today??

Took a little break from posting but we’re back!!!
Meal prepped for the week -
chicken, couscous and peas for dinner
egg whites with spinach and mozzarella cheese for breakfast
I put some of my go to snacks in there as well. pita wraps with laughing cow cheese and turkey or with some peanut butter are a great grab and go lunch.
Snack wise I live off of fruit, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, string cheese and fairlife protein shakes
I’m by no means a great cook but this took me about 1.5 hours and wasn’t too hard. Classes are starting this week so keeping healthy options at an arms reach is a necessity
Starting healthy habits in college (or earlier!) helps keep healthy habits for life.

Splits! 🤸🏼♀️
One of my goals this year was to do the splits and I got it down pretty quick, these are the stretches I used.
Do 3 reps of 20 seconds each side after you’ve warmed up and or rolled, you should get better results!
Mostly deep lunges and runners lunges, if you’re having trouble you can also use a yoga block under your hands or feet to change the elevation of either.
Ballistic stretching involves short movements up and down or forward and back to increase ROM faster than your typical static stretch - be careful not to push your body to the point of pain.
Every body is different so don’t be afraid to try different things.

I’m super excited to announce that I passed my personal trainer certification exam on Friday! 🧠📚
I’m also training to be a boxing instructor as well as a HIIT style workout instructor at the Nick in the fall. If personal trainings not your jam and you’re looking to workout with me I’d love to see you in a class! 🥊

Feeling very thankful after Valentine’s Day for all the Love in my life.
